mick is still on his legends contract, so im sure with his health issues and what not it is not worth all the traveling. it would be a good time for that story line to end.

 

Sounds great. I like Foley, but he's done a way better version of this 17 years ago. He's boring now.

 

You know I was kind of hoping they would build toward a brand warfare match this year for Mania. Having the tag champs from each show face off against each other could have been cool.

 

Meltzer saying that WWE is considering putting Pete Dunne on the RAW or SD post Mania.

 

He has the most punchable face. Excellent heel for sure. Reminds me a bit of Swagger but ya know...good.

 

Dunne needs to be in the main event scene for sure

 

That's a quick jump, must really have impressed some higher ups. Figured if he went to WWE full time he'd have a nice run in NXT.

 

I mostly wanted him to feud with Regal

 

Between tonight and tomorrow night we should get the returns of both Taker and Balor.

 

I know the Hardys signed with RoH but do you guys think it might just be a month long deal?

I mean Matt did tweet this out recently so who knows? Anything can happen with them and it would be such a big pop if they were there at Wrestlemania.

 

Sounds like they arent booked past May 1st. So, theres certainly a chance they are doing the ROH angle for fun and then come to WWE by summer

edit: And as I type that, I see the report that they are with ROH for longer than what Matt said, so, probably not quickly after May

 

Certainly looks like this Sami/Joe storyline is gonna continue. Curious what sort of match they'll be in at mania.

1) Sami and Finn vs Joe and Braun tag team or Sami vs Finn vs Joe vs Braun fatal four way

This assumes Finn is back and Braun doesn't get into a triple threat with Taker.

2) Sami vs Joe straight up, maybe with some sort of stipulation like a cage match.

This probably means Braun is in a triple thread with Roman and Taker. Question then becomes how Finn fits in assuming he is healthy. Don't see a triple thread with Sami/Joe/Finn happening

3) Something like Sami vs Finn vs Joe vs Rusev vs Cesaro vs Sheamus in a MITB ladder match.

Probably no chance of this happening, but MITB is gonna be a Smackdown PPV they could pull this off, save Rusev from the Armbar and give us a hell of a match.

4) Stack the Armbar

Honestly this wouldn't be the end of the world. Only problem is it means some jobbers don't get a WM appearances at all.

 

I know Finn is back and healthy, but, it probably makes the most sense to hold him off til after WM. He doesnt make sense in any current storyline, and shoe-horning him in probably isnt the way to go.

Having him return on the RAW after WM to demand his rematch, and then either feud with KO for #1 contender, or make a triple threat for Payback makes more sense.

 

Agreed, I see no current spot him either. They always do a big return after Mania anyway so it's perfect.

On another note, I really wish I never read Meltzers WM spoilers since all of it came true. I've tried to avoid spoilers but it barely ever works.

 

I'd normally be stoked for any AJ match but this one I just can't. Shane will go over.

 

At least the us title will be put on the line in a meaningful match.

 

it sounds like the Universal, Cruiserweight, US, IC and Raw Tag titles will all be contested in simple 1 v 1 format which i love.
As for Zayn. Definitely battle royal. Samoa Joe will do something within the triple h storyline.

 

I'm not sure why but I feel like we could see Joe/Balor at WM

 

I cant see Shane going over AJ. Not when AJ is basically above Cena.

Bigger issue is how does Shane not turn heel in that process. AJ is so over that just by screwing him so many times, it begins to turn AJ face

 

I kind of wonder if KO will cost Jericho the US title. KO doesn't really need the US title.

 

The line-up for SmackDown’s Women’s title match at Mania is left open in hopes Naomi can be cleared and Eva Marie’s schedule is open.

Not that this would be a return that has anyone excited by any means, but hasn't Tamina been working house shows for SD recently (or maybe scheduled for upcoming ones)? Wonder if she winds up being part of the SD Women's clusterfuck.

 

I'm going to pop so fucking hard if Eva Marie is there.

 

If this were to happen we would need to have both announce teams calling the match just so we can once again get the Corey/Tom interaction during her entrance. "Shut up, Tom!"
