How does one do this for future reference?

  3. File > Convert in iTunes should do it.

Ok. I ended up buying the album, but if it ever happens again I'll do that. It's really strange though cuz it's never happened before.

Does anyone happen to know how to revert back from El Capitan to Yosemite or Snow Leopard? I upgraded to El Capitan without doing any research, and now I'm realizing that my audio interface doesnt work with it.

Do or do not, there is no try.

Finally managed to grab some AirPods in the UK. Love the convenience and they fit me perfectly. £159 is very steep for the sound quality you get. However, I'll use them daily and the convenience is so great. (I know there are cheaper Bluetooth earphones/headphones but I hate earphones that go inside your ear and my head is too big for headphones - Apple's standard ones have always been the comfiest for my ears)

For anything newer than Snow Leopard, you can download the installation package from the App Store and make a bootable drive from it.

There are some easy instructions over at Macworld

Just out of curiosity, did you move from Snow Leopard to Yosemite? How old is your Macbook?

Macbook is from 2012. Yeah I'm pretty sure I moved from Leopard to Yosemite. I dont know much about this stuff, when I see a software update I just go for it without thinking. Now I'm thinking it might just be easier to upgrade my audio interface rather than going through the headache of figuring this out. Urghhh more money to spend that I don't have.

What audio interface do you have, and what software are you using it with?

I use an mbox 2 mini with garageband. I read that the mbox 2 mini has been discontinued so digidesign hasnt made an updated driver to be compatible with newer mac and windows operating systems.

Ordered a 38mm Series 2 rose sport band for the wife as a gift for taking care of our kid while I've been gone during this deployment... she's been looking at FitBit's but I've heard so many bad things about them, figured I'd just keep her devices within the Apple universe (to go w/ her 7).

  18. God, I really love Air Pods. I can't believe how much I use them.

Same here! I initially bought them with the intention to return them if I didn't find them useful, but I use them all the time now. Everywhere I go really.

It's 2017 and Apple Music still doesn't let you share playlists with other people and give them the ability to edit them. I'm usually a big fan of Apple Music, but the fact that Apple still doesn't give its users control over such a BASIC feature is mind-boggling.

I have a lot of issues with Apple Music. I still love the service, but there are a lot of problems - mainly cosmetic.

Yeah I agree. Some minor annoyances that get on my nerves a bit during daily use, mostly on desktop.

    Desktop Apple Music frightens me.
I love AM on mobile, but it's awful on desktop. Mostly because iTunes is a god damn mess.
I try and use AM when I'm on my computer but it's tough. Just the search function upsets me enough, let alone everything else.
All in all, still love AM.

I never use Apple Music or iTunes (because of iTunes) on my desktop. I have an external HD with close to a TB of music I just browse from.
