State Fairgrounds in Salem probably. Fucking stoked this is in Salem now, gonna be like a 5 minute drive home

EDIT: need to read the rest of the thread first haha. Also what the fuck do we have 3 people in this thread that live in Salem?

I really wish the Milwaukee date wasn't two days after Chicago. I doubt I'll go to two dates just for that reason.

Yep, my date is definitely at BB&T Pavilion again. It's now saying Camden, NJ instead of Philadelphia.

I don't live in Salem, one of the outlying small towns. Probably about a 20-30 minute drive for me to get into town.

Honestly happy Warped isn't at the Expo center and Salem isn't much further than Columbia Meadows used to be back in the day. I've never been to the fairgrounds, but if it's in a huge grassy field again I'll be very happy. Might actually go to Seattle too CenturyLink is a much better location than Auburn.

I found it odd that some of the venues aren't listed for the dates. I mean how many possible venues would there be for Warped in Salem, OR? Maybe legally the contracts aren't 100% done.

Mostly concrete, but there's a few grassy patches depending on where they put it

Skullcandy has a stage this year. Just saw a video advertising the chance for bands to play the Skullcandy Stage

Ah, is the area bigger than the expo center? My main issue with the expo center is that is felt cramped at times.

It could be, depends on if they use the facilities already there (amphitheater, pavilion, and armory on site that have all held concerts in recent memory) or if they just shove everything onto the pavement and call it good.

I don’t pop in to comment here very often, but I read every post in this thread and have liked more than my fair share. I’m dying to see how this lineup turns out. Personally, I always love finding new bands at Warped that weren’t really on my radar before. So with so many known bands seemingly ruled out this year, it’s going to be interesting!

You met me at a very strange time in my life

Could Oceano play this year? Or are they doing a tour

  15. SomeGuyNamedMike

    The Real Dirty Dan.

They're doing a spring tour with Slaughtered To Prevail, Aversions Crown, Spite, and No Zodiac.

The Southeast dates conflict with the radius clause; I'd rule them out.

has Billy Talent been brought up much as a possibility? They have a German show on 7/22, but I could see them doing select shows in the first half. Their current tour ends this week and they have nothing else going on until summer.

Also, did Anti-Flag drop off some shows in August or something? According to both their Facebook and official website they have no shows after April 30th. I definitely seem to remember them having a European fest or something that conflicted with the last week of Warped when our speculation started. Can anyone confirm?

It's like that every year so I'm not surprised. Just hope I snag one of those 500.

    Things have changed.

Anyone think the Rolling Stones could do select dates?

Next Show - Foals April 22nd

Ok I need expert opinions. Trying to decide which date makes the most sense for me this year. Want to hear about everyone's experiences at the venues/dates.

For content, I'm from Montreal, used to go when the tour came here. 2015 I went to Toronto and it was great.

Last year I went to the Holmdel date, it's about a 6.5 hour drive for me but I spent the weekend in NYC and got to see Brand New play MSG the same weekend. Warped itself was just ok venue wise and the trip cost me an arm and a leg.

    My other options are:

Camden, NJ, BB&T Pavillion (the furthest from me, if I do this date I'd do Hartford too) - 7.5 hour drive

Wantagh, NY, Nikon at Jones Beach (my frist Warped was at Nassau Coliseum in 2008, oh the memories) - 6.5 hour drive

Hartford, CT, Xfinity Theater (never spent more than 5 minutes in Hartford, it's the closest date) - 5 hour drive

Holmdel, NJ, PNC Bank Arts Center (see above) - 6.5 hour drive

I wouldn't rule them out entirely. I know they're currently off the road right now so let's cross our fingers!!!

Release My Mind, My Garden Grows

Shit, that happened in my town and I had no idea about that. I was also 2 when that happened but, man I never would have thought something like warped would come anywhere near Falmouth especially with a lineup like that. Blink, Deftones, 311 too. Sucks that no tours like this would ever come near the Cape these days.

I had never gone, but it's changed from the past to today. Everything does - it always gets bigger, and more.. more everything.
