What do you mean? I thought it was obvious what the game was.

 

I must not have been following enough on it, probably. I came in expecting like a full-campaign and a ton of customization, but what I got was this like always online campaign that didn't tell much of a story at all, and like a handful of guns that all kind of felt the same. I probably shouldn't have expected "Battlefield, but with mecha" but still...I felt cheated for the first week or so. Eventually after playing Destiny for a bit I learned to love Tfall haha

 

I can't get passed the second floor of Gungeon and that is infuriating. I'm in such an BoI mentality, that I forget I can dodge or clear bullets.

 

I'm knee deep in Kingdom Hearts Unchained X and I can't stop.

 

Is Gungeon similar to BoI? I've heard a ton about it and seen a lot of good reception to it, but hardly seen any gameplay of it.

Welcome to my life. Im averaging 30 Levels a day and I just keep going. I think Im at level 120 right now and pushing top 100 overall in terms of total Lux. Also, before the hackers took over, my party managed to make it to second overall, so my friends are as addicted as I am haha.

 

It's pretty similar. It is a dungeon crawler with directional firing. You find different weapons and power-ups on each floor. There are bosses on every floor that also give you power-ups. You can purchase things in a shop. There are different characters with different powers to start.

The biggest difference is that you can flip tables and stuff in order to get out of harms way. You can also activate a bullet that clears the room of things that can damage you and you can dive over bullets.

 

Interesting, I'll probably check it out. I never was super interested in BoI but it always looked pretty good and fun.

 

Oh right yeah I get you.

Didn't realise Titanfall was confirmed for PS4 would love crossplay.

I liked it a lot, but yes, it lacked content which hurt it big time.

 

Totally disagree. Plus the vast majority of people LOVED the game. It is one of the few games that was almost flawless upon release.

 

When I say "now things are good," I mean at the studio. There was a bit of turmoil going on there at the start, as EA were going to cancel the game until Microsoft stopped in.

I played the first on PC and it was great!

 

Damn dude, I'm level 4 haha. Logged in today to see that Vulpeus was the #1 union though, glad we're crushing it.

 

My party is in the Unicorns and I think we're second right now overall for the Unions. I hear a bunch of people have found backdoor hacks and free in-app purchases though via jailbroken phones so I'm not putting too much stock in the rankings right now ha.

 

Titanfall was a blast from Day One, for me.

Also had excellent DLC. Had so much fun with that game.

 

God I know that feeling. The bosses are so much harder than BoI (only thing I can compare it too). I love the table flipping mechanic mind?

 

Anyone else loving the Battleborn beta? I'm all about that healer character, besides the healing his attack is surprisingly powerful, you can get away from basically any situation with his regeneration power, and once you make his cluster able to stun you're basically unstoppable, only think you can't really do is farm minions. It's crazy going through a 30 minute game and never dying but its happening for me a lot with that character, just feels right. Marquis is insanely awesome too...A goddamn pistol that turns into a sniper rifle when you aim down sights...amazing...and he has that little gentleman slap that knocks people back its great. Just started playing as Reyna too, really like all of her sheilding abilities.

And that story mission I played was surprisingly fun solo

 

Enter the Gungeon looks like a lot of fun, but roguelikes can be super frustrating.

 

Forgot I wouldn't have a car tomorrow so I didn't preorder Dark Souls 3 and now I have to get up early tomorrow to walk into town to get it. Downside to buying physical.
