He's gonna win in four years. No one on the left is gonna wanna hear how popular all this shit is gonna be. /depressed take

 

He completely appealed to moderate independents tonight and it's definitely going to work. /still depressed take

I'm confused about the effuse praise I'm seeing for the Navy Seal bit. It felt awkward and contrived for me... Of course it's bulletproof since you can't criticize a fallen military man I suppose. But it felt like a cheap trick. It was a smart move - hard to criticize it without being painted as non-patriotic or demeaning his memory.

 

That speech was garbage sentiment and blanket statements with no substance. He is too much of a loon to keep up the presidential image for four more years.

We are only one day removed from him claiming Obama is behind the leaks. He is still a dumb egomaniac who needs a prewritten speech to come across as intelligible.

 

It's been weird so far.

I feel like the ruin careers more than anything (Jindal) so why waste the heavy hitters, no one remembers them in two days. So instead I think a wave of responses is better.
