For those who watched, how was honor rising night 1?

 

Better than a normal b-ppv. Every match was fine/good. Young Bucks vs War Machine got a this is awesome chant in Japan, so that is saying a lot.

 

Damn, that's awesome. Getting home from work around 2:30 tonight so hoping to crank out night 1 before night 2 starts and being able to stay up for night 2.

I hope the Unbreakable F'N Machines having a few matches recently means they'll be more of a regular thing again. They're a ton of fun as a tag team.

 

I love Excalibur on commentary wondering if they're awesome unbreakable machines or indestrubicle fucking machines.

 

Meltzer is saying that the Hardy's are likely out of Impact because Jeff Jarrett is an ass. We'll likely find out Thursday.

 

I've never heard anything good about Jeff Jarrett. Ever.

 

I'm aware of JJ, but have never really watched anything with him. Only clips I've watched involving him are him laying down the WCW title to Hogan after Russo tells him to, and him and his wife having to cut a promo literally minutes after just watching Owen Hart die in the ring. That was rough.

 

WarMachine are so fucking good. Two nights in a row they put on killer matches.

 

You aren't missing anything. His WWF runs sucked.

 

I never liked JJ. Was always bored by his matches and his character.

 

This is about the most predictable story possible. The one thing keeping thier company afloat and they piss them off

 

Just put the Hardys on Smackdown already. That tag division desperately needs credibility, and they can also work singles matches as space filler.

 

No guarantee they want to come to WWE though. Probably wouldn't have anywhere near the same level of creative control as they've had the past year or so.

 

Kinda unrelated, but I had two reactions to the Oscars botch last night.

1) Was R-Truth in charge of the final envelope? "My bad. This one's on me."
2) "And the winner is La La Land!"....."I'm afraid I've got some bad news!"

 

Jeff Jarrett sucks but there's no denying that early TNA was incredible and a lot of that was his doing. Hopefully he can rebuild TNA the way he originally did

 

Jeff hardy, he can do one offs probably but no way in hell could he be a full timer again in wwe. Sadly

 

It'd be cool if they could work schedules similar to Rhyno.

Such a brutal promo. I just rewatched the original footage after listening to a super long podcast about that PPV.

I base my opinion on JJ honestly on just all the shitty broad strokes people in the business cast over him. As a wrestler I remember for some reason liking his entrance music haha. And the strut he did that was flair esque. Pre slap nuts era.

 

I don't think it's him being an ass. I can understand this if they want to move in a completely different direction. The gimmick has done wonders for the company in the last year in terms of online interest but the gimmick is peaking/has peaked. I would be surprised if WWE let them run with it but stranger things have happened.
