Finished my first playthrough of Agatha Christie's The ABC Murders. Was pretty cool if you enjoy point and click adventure/mystery games. The story and game overall were good enough for a rental or sale price

But the real question is, is Shadow of Mordor worth playing? IDK. I also haven't gone thru the Witcher 3 and that's gonna take me forever.

Shadow of Mordor is solid. If you like the combat in Batman it's a lot like that.

My only complaint on SoM is that it became very tedious trying to get so many side missions done. Hard to imagine saying there was TOO much in it.

I really enjoyed Shadow of Mordor. Took like the best aspects of assassins creed and batman arkham series and mashed em together with a cool enemy system the nemesis.

Shadow Of Mordor is an average Assasin's Creed game with a good version of the Batman combat and a semi-interesting enemy system. It's solid, but not nearly as good as some say, in my opinion. The story is a crime against Tolkien though.

    Fun must be always. Prestigious

Shadow Of Mordor was a cool game at first but I got pretty bored by the end.

I also didn't care for the story.

Yeah it's really cool at first, but I stopped somewhere in the second area

It was a game that had neat ideas but didn't fully surround them with a large enough variety of encounters or a memorable story. An improved sequel in the vein of AC/WD -> their sequels has a lot of potential though. I'm curious to see what they do with the new one.

i may get better but we won't ever get well Prestigious

SOM has fairly solid gameplay - its greatest strength is enemy chief ability variety probably - but it's like offensively easy and the story is awful

Shadow of Mordor isn't an incredible game but I had a ton of fun with it. It probably wouldn't have gotten the attention it did if 2014 wasn't such an underwhelming year for games.

For anyone who has an affinity for older games or crazy challenges, TheMexicanRunner finished an incredible feat today - he became the first ever person to complete all 714 licensed NES games. It took him 3 years and 3435 hours. If curious, you can find the finale here Twitch

  15. SoM's story isn't great but it's one of my favorite games that I've played on the PS4 because the gameplay is amazing. Perfected Arkham-style combat. The nemesis system is also very cool and no other game has touched it, so I'm very excited for the sequel.

Monolith is a good dev tho. They used to make my favorite games(F.E.A.R, Condemned).

Have you finished Dues Ex!? One of your most hyped games last year? Or even given Doom a second chance after writing it off in an hour?!!

    F.E.A.R. 2 was a disappointment though. Condemned 2 ended on a horrible cliffhanger. :(

I opted to play a bit of Forza Horizon 3 instead of this glad. Glad to hear it's fun though, will probably play it some this week. How long did it take roughly?
