I agree about Bogut. I just think it's funny the loopholes keep going their way. I'm glad its turned into a buyer's market for big men help. We should get someone useful. Hopefully a contract can be worked out with Deron once he clears Saturday (barring a claim). I trust our FO to bring in the right pieces.

Late on this train but as a Bulls fan I can't express enough how much I am going to miss Taj Gibson. I felt like part of me died when I saw he had been traded (the fact that he was traded for junk is just beside the point). There are legit members of my family tree that I love less than him. Just the most unselfish, wonderful guy you can imagine. Brb, gonna cry some more

 

Yea, seems like a great dude. It will definitely be weird to see him in a different uniform.

 

I will probably get laughed at for this, and I'm not trying to insinuate the Bulls won the trade (they didn't), but I actually like Joffrey Lauvergne as a player. Hopefully he can play well in Chicago and land a nice contract.

I've always liked him too, I hope he does well with the Bulls obviously. Still wish we didn't have to give up a guy like Taj and the only guy on our team who could shoot to get him.

 

His defense is not something I'll ever have confidence will be NBA level, but his offensive skillset is pretty varied and that's definitely something they need. Cam Payne sucks though. This was definitely a "trade for young guys just because they're young" kinda deal.

 

Fun game.

 

The Warriors make the Clippers seem likable. It's weird.
