Boston not trading the Nets pick is insane to me. I get that the Nets pick will likely be a top 2-4 pick but if you have the opportunity to get a certified all-star NOW you do it with no questions asked. You're essentially hoping that the draft pick will eventually turn into a Jimmy Butler or a Paul George. So why not take the sure thing when you're second seed in the East and really have an opportunity to contend for a championship?

And this is coming from a Cavs fan.

 

the only player i'd be happy trading Crowder and the nets pick for is PG. Or like, Blake, which won't happen

 

That 1st the Sixers are getting for Nerlen's better be unprotected or else that trade fucking stinks.
