i would buy the game if that was true tbh

 

Oh no, i very much agree. Its just bullshit that the IC title has sunken into nothingness with the Rumble, EC, and all of the other shit with the big belt. It's a far cry from what it was in December. Corbin is NOT going to elevate that title with the mid card they have. Can't wait for roster cuts and redreafting.

 

I mean that's what I mean. What kind of screwy booking. He's a face in this match. Bray interferes on his behalf?

 

Yup, why put the title on Ambrose when he's going to be in the WHC picture anyway? The Miz/Dolph feud was over but they could've given it to somebody else or let Dolph run with it rather than doing nothing with Kalisto, at least if the IC title was involved that story would have some sort of purpose (this is not the DZ Crew in me speaking)

 

I have two, possibly conflicting views on this:

Ziggler is the perfect midcard guy to build on for the IC title.
- The guy is a great promo (even if they sound like they are from the early 90's)
- He makes for some really fun matches, even if it is just him hitting signature moves for 20 minutes.
- He can bring life to some shitty stories.
- He can definitely build up these lower card guys. Crews needs someone strong to build off of, and Zigs is a great guy to do it. Kalisto is a lost cause.
- They should have him spamming super kicks. It works for other people, make it a thing here.

Dean's run to the title was fucking awesome. The story they built for him was perfect. The exact stuff we needed to see from him. Beating the shit out of Miz and nonchalantly walking off with the belt like it was nothing is what Dean's character should be. If we had a Dean Ambrose that was kinda like Naito, he'd be perfect. Instead, we get a guy who doesn't have a character at all. Is he going to continually defend the honor of Renee? Is he going to be completely unhinged and be unpredictable? Will we get a guy who just makes stupid puns all of the time in interviews? Just stick with something. Any of these things could probably work for him. Instead, who knows what the fuck we get on a given day. As of right now, he's just a placeholder who gets a pop in matches we know he isn't going to win.

tl;dr: Rhyno should have the IC title.

 

You joke about Rhyno and the IC title, but the fact that they're not priming Heath Slater for a midcard story against Dolph is so disappointing. He got legitimately over as hell after the draft and is being totally wasted.

 

There are a bunch of mid card wrestlers right now being wasted in smackdown garbage tag team division

 

His promo last night was so weird. It looked like he was under a heat lamp with the way the lighting was, and yet he's cutting this sort of unhinged promo thats almost not even about the title shot hes trying to win.

Mojo said 1/3rd as many words and it worked WAY better.

This is a huge mistake. Especially since AA arent falling out of the title picture anytime soon. Meaning that Slater has nowhere to go.

Pushing Crews instead is very dumb, because we know he's garbage. But having a very over Slater ready to fight Corbin would be exactly the kind of fresh match Smackdown desperately needs.

Without like 4-5 callups, I have no idea how Smackdown makes it from WM to MITB

 

I think that the day after Wrestlemania should be the draft. If we are expecting callups anyway, why not make it simple?

 

I wish they would do like a Free Agent period, where maybe it's just for one day or for a whole week (preferably one day) where news can break throughout the day and even on and during raw and or smackdown about who got signed, traded, whatever. Idk it sounds like something that would keep people engaged on social media which they always want and it would be real fun to follow for nerds like us.

 

Could be fun to do a Heath-like pushthere too; a post-RAW video with Cesaro or someone whose been rumored to be in trade talks. Hand people more free promo time basically and give them a chance to get that angle over.

 

I think there are NXT tapings tonight, though it isn't at Full Sail. The next set of Full Sail tapings isn't until the Wednesday after Mania.

 

And speaking of wasting Heath, he hasnt won on TV or on a PPV since November 1st.

 

I'd never seen this before. Its fucking awesome. Wish the WWE would do more stuff like this.
