I lived in a very rural area in the alps for a while as a kid and I'm not going to lie that is part of it haha

 

I mean they've at least played the thing, I'm not gonna rant about think pieces about it because I know very little about the themes that may be explored in the game.

 

Yeah who knows, but it still sounds funny

 

Yeah, this review is kinda odd. At least they pick out the good stuff and don't trash the whole thing.

Fighting robot dinosaurs in the woke-as-hell post-apocalypse of Horizon: Zero Dawn

 

Didn't play an video games last week, now trying to finish Homefront. I think I'll be done tomorrow night. Only about 2 hours left right now. God, this game drags....

Or maybe I'm just done with it haha

Almost done with 0.2 Birth By Sleep because it is like super short, but then back to 3D

 

I plan on getting the kingdom hearts collection sometime this summer. Only played the first one way back when it came out on ps2.

 

I sat in front of my XB1 this morning for 2 hours playing Fallout Shelter. I just couldn't break away......

 

Those games are weird man. I played several of them on PS2 and handhelds and I'm not quite sure if they're horrible or brilliant.

 

i think somewhere in between but i can't be sure until i try some more of them

 

They're great

 

I definitly like that they always stuck to their own gameplay conventions

 

Kingdom Hearts is easily my favorite game series. I only really ever replay the main games though.

 

Speaking of Kingdom Hearts I've been having some fun messing with the game's internals. Currently making a One Hit KO mod for stupid challenge reasons

Hey guys so I bought a PS4 and am real excited to be gaming again. It has been a long time for me for various reasons. So I got my PS4 and bought Overwatch, GTA V, COD Black ops III and FF X remaster which is what i'm gonna primarily start playing. But i'm gonna try and post in here a little more regularly cause I haven been so out of touch with the videogame world for years.

 

Why does every conversation have to be in a particular thread, is much rather follow one thread of VG conversations then having to manage multiple just to talk about the same things, seems silly IMO

 

Not every conversation. Why is there a Nioh thread? A witcher 3 thread? Fallout 4 thread? I don't think it's silly. It depends on the popularity of the franchise. Also Scott went over this before but people reached out to him about this so yeah.

 

I have no idea why those threads exist. It just seems like it's kinda defeating the purpose of this thread if bigger games are reduced specifically to their own thread. Maybe it's just me, if so oh well. Just seems weird to me.

 

I mean yeah one thread is good in theory but I'm also happy if I don't have to constantly read about these damn weeb games
