Just include it you know, why wouldn't you? I don't have Spotify. I'm not really even what it is.

Every year on my birthday we drive to the Princeton Record Exchange and use it as an excuse to spend money on records we wouldn't normally. Today I got:

Abbey Road by the Beatles - the reprint from 2009
The Lumineers by the Lumineers and also got Cleopatra in the mail this morning
    Lucinda Williams by Lucinda Williams
Sometimes I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit by Courtney Barnett
All Hail West Texas by The Mountain Goats
    Glitterbug by The Wombats
and a Woody Guthrie anthology that just says "Archives of Folk Music" on it

Really digging this new Tancred album but I'm admittedly partial to Polyvinyl Records.

    Deftones - Gore (white)
The Doors - The Best Of
Glassjaw - Worship/Tribute (had to pick up another because the one I have is ruined)

  13. I'm addicted to Discogs now. I'll be spending the night adding my collection.

^ Discogs is the way to go and well worth your time. Once you get your collection in, it’s really nice to have easy access to so much information on everything.

Yeah I love discogs. The only reason I keep a Deadformat collection also is to keep up with records I have preordered.

Haha I have not tried to keep track of that. I have 180ish records in the collection. Some stuff is pretty cheap but plenty of things in there that command stupid money. I don't want to think about how much money is tied up in the collection haha. :crylaugh:

    Quick tip:

Use an old laserdisc to help adjust your anti skate settings. Works like a charm everytime!

Brought home the Sufjan Stevens 10 year of Illinois. Never listened to this album before but bought on a whim due to how acclaimed it seems to be.

It's an astonishing accomplishment. I picked up the Blue Marvel edition also. A really nice set.

  22. It's really cool. However, I'm finding it can be difficult to determine which variant I have.

^That can be especially difficult with the classics that have been pressed 50+ times. I’ve only run across one variant of something I have that I couldn’t find on there, but it was a brand new release so I just added it myself.

Stopped by a yard sale the other day and picked up Thriller (MJ), Synchronicity (The Police) and The Muppet's Show album for $1!

Only RSD release I'm trying to get is Chon's limited pressing of Grow. That was probably my AOTY last year.

Andrew McMahon In The Wilderness - Canyons EP
