I am genuinely shocked.

Won't be picking it up next week, because next week is Switch week, but I'm excited to plays it when I have the time.

 

Damn Horizon reviews. Guess I'm gonna have to break down and get my first playstation system since the original (bitter dreamcast owner who's capable of holding a grudge for a LONG time here).

 

These reviews are wonderful. Really really excited.

 

Good to see Horizon reviewing well. Still going to pass for a couple months because I'm not fitting in a 30+ hour game with Zelda and Nier within a week of it, but really glad to see it delivered.

 

Unfortunately won't be playing Horizon for a while with the Switch coming so soon. Glad to hear how well it's being received, we can always use new IPs.

 

For real, I had a feeling this game would score really well. Excited to pick it up in the next few months after my switch hype dies down (will it though? stay tuned)

 

Well yeah it's critics bait, let's just hope it'll do well too

 

Honestly I thought they were showing the best parts in the trailers and it wouldn't live up to the hype. Glad it seems to be even if I wasn't too interested

 

It'll be my "playuntilZeldaarrives" game.

Zelda is coming next week I can't contain myself.

 

I'm hoping Horizon is engrossing enough that i don't want to put it down.

 

I was so scared that Horizon would be more of a "solid 7/10" than anything else. So happy to hear otherwise though!

Fuck, why did I buy Watch Dogs 2 last week? Going to take everything for me to not preorder Horizon...

 

I'll put it down after two hrs.

 

Decided to pre-order Horizon last night. Also bought Stardew Valley and it has taken over my life.

I'll be well entertained until KH 1.5+2.5 and MLB The Show 17 comes out.

I've stayed far away from Stardew Valley because I know i wouldnt do anything besides play that.

it might be just the distraction i need until horizon and zelda next week.

 

For 15 bucks it was a no-brainer for me. Especially since my girlfriend has been in Mexico since Wednesday and I needed something to do. It's gonna stink when I have to share the controller when she gets home haha.

 

I haven't played anything since I wrapped up Witcher 3 more than a few months ago

I've enjoyed binging a few shows and watching a few movies I had put off for a while but I'm excited to finally dig my nails into a new game again

 

how steep is the learning curve for stardew valley?

 

Not steep at all, especially if you occasionaly glance at a guide. It's "easier" than most Harvest Moon games.

 

Is that game basically just "being a person from the Midwest without getting off your couch"?

 

The intellectualization already going on in the media about a game in which caveman shoot robot dinosaurs with bows is amazing
