A bit of a bummer there's no proper project on the way, but I like his reasoning for putting these songs out.

I'm Perfect is such a jam. Been listening to it on repeat. He's not releasing a full length though?

 

He replied to somewhone who asked "what's going on?" With "songs 4 days". Which might mean he is gonna keep dropping songs. So it can eventually be viewed as a full length I suppose.

 

I just hope they are eventually available somewhere other than youtube, aka to download

 

Idk, that thing looks like a cover for a release, I wouldn't count anything out yet

It'd be weird if these were just b-sides from previous albums because they sound really different from any of those albums

I 100% forgot Kindred existed and thought Gossamer was the last thing he had done and i was happy.

 

The problem with Kindred isn't that it's bad it's that its unbelievably bland in almost every aspect. It feels like a random bunch of demos

 

First half of Kindred is solid. Second half not so much.

 

I was so disappointed in Kindred. I loved the singles but was very disappointed in the album. Didn't feel like the same artist that wrote Manners and Gossamer.

 

I guess my main problem is that Kindred was so... straightforward and kinda cheeseball, the first two albums really had this sense of unique-ness to them, something that is specifically them. Kindred kinda just sounded like it could have been any number of bands making those songs
