if we traded Wiggins I would stop being a wolves fan, haha. Dude has been balling out since lavine went down. yeah I remember they talked about that trade this past offseason though, I just hope thibs doesn't do anything drastic to try and speed up the rebuild here and mess with the core team we have.

But I guess I was just saying they should move butler because I haven't really followed the bulls this year, haha.

I miss Thibs haha. He's a great coach, but man does he run his players into the ground. Everything about the Bulls, besides Butler, has been terrible this season haha. Its so upsetting as a fan.

Well...Robin Lopez too. He's been a solid center so far this season.

And that's 41 straight for Isaiah. Longest streak for the Celtics.

  8. Oops. If I didn't enjoy Bill Simmons ranting on twitter I'd say that's a call that doesn't happen often.

Yeah Lavine was averaging around 38 minutes a game before his injury, definitely some heavy minutes.

Lol. Technically Smart did get Butler on the elbow in the replay, but that was a star-call. 9/10 times that doesn't get called.

  15. Hahahaha. Totally fine by me! That would be a good one. Although I don't think he'll win it.

Probably not, but only because of their bias against guards. He's an elite defensive guard.

  19. 9/10 is conservative. 99/100. I mean I'm personally mad about it so you know. but come on

A star gets that call on occasion, but I don't know if I've ever seen anything quite like that to end a game.

I mean of course that's a foul, but those never get called in the last seconds. Like Reggie pushing MJ, Kobe tackling the Wolves a season or two ago, that's when you can get real egregious.

There's a different angle showing the ref waiting to see if it was going in before calling the foul. That's what really irks me. Whatever. Still #2 heading into the All Star Game.

That's pretty standard at any level on how to handle certain fouls or plays with contact. Essentially, it comes down to advantage and protecting an airborne shooter. If the shot is missed, the defense gained an advantage by said contact.

And when it comes to blowing a whistle, refs are taught to have a patient whistle. Some people interpret that certain ways, but it tries to prevent conicting calls. A patient whistle usually prevents that situation. Nothing more embarrassing than one ref calling a block and the other a charge in order to have a quick whistle. That's where ref communication and ref primaries come into play. You're taught to be patient and hold your hand up for foul or violation and look to see what your partners are doing (especially if multiple whistles blow) so one call can be made.
