Technically yes. And all of it is acknowledged in the storyline. Characters you do see again that died in MK9 include Liu Kang, Kung Lao, Sub-Zero, Jax, Kitana, Sindel, Nightwolf, Smoke, which all appear as "Revenants" created by Quan Chi to use their power for his own army. Raiden is able to break the spell binding their souls to Quan Chi, but the only ones present when he does is Jax, Sub-Zero, and Scorpion. Why there are older versions of Liu and Kitana as main playable fighters I think is just solely because they're fan favorites.


The others you see (and do fight a few) in the storyline though, and that's all I'll say so I don't ruin how it ends/why it makes sense to bring them back in some capacity.

Also really loved all the other side characters they included in the story including Frost, Tanya, Rain, Scarlett, Lei Mei, Fujin, and maybe others I'm forgetting.

 

Cyber Sleuth was $10 on Amazon so I bought it, my backlog will never be finished haha

I'm liking Elder Scrolls Online way more than I thought I would.

 

it's gotten better over time. what are you playing on?

 

PS4! I heard it had gotten better and seeing it for the first time now makes me wonder what the problems were before. Obviously if you were expecting "Skyrim but Online" you'd be disappointed.

 

I haven't played in a while, but it's good fun. :D

 

ESO is a good time. I just really like the Elder Scrolls universe.

 

I loved the original Prey, and I am so excited for this new one.

 

Most anticipated game of 2017.

 

Sometimes I lose sleep thinking about how cool that one Prey 2 trailer was and how badly I wanted that game. Still very excited for Prey.

 

Yeah, that would have been cool, too. It died since the developer didn't want to be purchased by Zenimax :(

 

Man, the characters in Prey looks like Dishonored....that is disappointing actually...

They fit the style/setting of Dishonored, but they'd feel out of place here I'd think..

 

New Prey looks really cool.

 

Try 40 minutes of FIFA/Madden and 20 minutes of random studios talking about their shit but they don't show it.

 

I mostly hated Shadow of the Colossus at first. I almost gave up with the third colossus, but now I am down seven and it is addicting. There is something so satisfying about that second where the sound drops after you defeat one.

 

My biggest regret is probably not jumping on making an account the second psn was first introduced so I could snatch "Hoops" as a name. Whoever has that probably lives a life of coolness I can't possibly imagine.

 

My buddy got the gamertag Default when Xbox recycled unused gamertags a few years ago.
