do yall really think yall will get your new mass effect soon and it won't be delayed?

 

It's so weird how soon Mass Effect comes out, and I feel like we know next to nothing about it

Did MK10 really keep its promise of "whoever dies in MK9 stays dead"? I guess with Injustice it's a little trickier, parallel universes and all.

yeah the fact that they haven't shown much makes me think it's gonna be a mess

 

they waited long enough to announce its release date, and only a couple months before the day, i assume the game was nearly complete by the time they gave us the date.

you never know with game development but i don't think it'll get delayed

 

Sub-Zero, Jax, and Kitana were playable despite dying.

 

I'm not familiar with anything else in the franchise, but I feel like those three are all staples so that makes sense. Did they at least not show up in story mode?

 

It's hard for me to remember. Jax may have been in flashback, since his daughter is one of the main characters. I'm fairly certain Kitana has some level of immortality. Sub-Zero has been multiple characters in the past. I'd have to do more digging to give you definitive answers.

 

I'll be very surprised if Mass Effect gets delayed now.

 

I'm also pretty sure it'll be good, EA has no reason to push out a messy Mass Effect

 

Jax, Kitana, Kung Lao and Liu Kang all came back as undead controlled by Quan chi. Smoke did too but he wasn't playable until later as dlc. Some other characters also came back but weren't playable.

The Sub Zero in X is the second one. The previous Sub Zero became Noob Saibot.

 

I don't think there will be a delay, I'm just shocked at how little we know about it

 

That sounds like messy grey area. At least it doesn't sound like you can play as them in the campaign itself?

 

Well you do play as Jax, Scorpion and Sub Zero who are all cured in a flashback. The others are only enemies you fight. So they didn't really keep their promise at all. I don't really mind though because the ending sets up some cool stuff with some of the undead characters.

 

yeah, I can't imagine ME being delayed, but it is wild how little we've seen. Isn't there a beta coming up? hopefully that will dispel some of the concern

 

Even more messy grey area haha. Alive in the past and undead in the present is still technically presently dead. I'm sure I'll enjoy it regardless, I just find it kind of funny that they didn't exactly deliver on one of their promises.

 

I still enjoyed the story despite all that messiness. I also liked the new characters quite a bit.

 

They are supposed to be showing a long gameplay video this week dammit.
