Fuck yeah I'm seeing Jimmy Eat World on April 24th.

Sacramento to Missoula in two days is a haul though. Sac to SLC is like 13 hours.

 

So weird. Few minutes ago I was sad that I couldn't see the band in Dallas because I'm not 21 yet, and then these tour dates leak with Incubus, a band that I used to be a massive fan of. Really good Monday.

 

Took my parents to Joshua Tree yesterday and I played Futures, Chase This Light, and Integrity Blues.

Perfect soundtrack for that.

 

I hope they play Dizzy and Invented when I see them

 

Guess I'd better haul my ass to Saskatoon for April 30th, I missed them last time and that was almost 10 years ago.

Love Dizzy so much. CTL might be my favourite after Futures, prominently due to that song.

 

Dizzy's a top three JEW song for me (and depending on mood, sometimes number one), even though CTL's only my fourth favourite.

It gets me in the feels every time Jim comes in with the first verse, never mind the rest of it.

 

Chase This Light is basically tied for Clarity for my number one JEW album. Clarity is like a hair above it for me.

CTL and clarity are about tied for me. Both are perfect

 

Futures and Integrity Blues are my favorites at this point. Both cut so deep for me

I need to go back to Integrity Blues, it came out at a very hectic time in my life and I didn't really get much time to let it grow on me. I have a hard time making any real judgments about it because of that.

 

IB is top three, don't know exactly where it fits in though

 

If you had 5 open slots on a mix cd and were gonna fill those 5 spots with Jimmy Eat World songs for someone who has never heard them before, which would you pick??
