I'm glad to learn I'm not the only one that uses that writing thing part of iMessage.

 

I'm pretty impressed at how well we can converse through GIFs.

 

Went to the doc today and got a new prescription that's much cheaper than my old meds (plus my mom said she'd help pay too)
In the process of looking for a psychologist and it's a bit overwhelming tbh

 

Would you be comfortable asking your doc for a referral to who they would pick? This is from the APA and it helped me.

I asked him for a referral and he just gave me a generic one cause some places require a referral from your family doctor before you make an appointment, he didn't mention anyone specific.
I've just been googling offices that are in walking distance of my place and looking at the profiles of the doctors they have. Thanks for the link! hopefully I find someone good.

I was in a good mood today but my bff said she was going on a talk with her ex where he'd probably yell at her and berate her and she said I needed to check up on her if she didn't come home, implying he may harm her. But she just came and got her dogs and it sounded like she came in his truck and she usually gets her dogs when she's staying the night there and I'm like noooooo sis

 

I always wake up wishing I had died in my sleep and I'm not suicidal but the idea that things would be better if I did commit suicide has popped into my head more often than I would like.

 

This world would be worse without you. You are important, you have a story to tell and a light and a joy to bring to so many people -- some in your life now, some you haven't even met yet. You leaving this life would be a detriment to this world.

 

These feelings are so hard to deal with but I know a great number of people would be so worse off without you. Stay strong.

After thinking/saying that I need to find a therapist/psychologist to talk to so many times I've finally done it. There's an office not five minutes away from my apartment and I just submitted out a form to get an appointment there. It might sound silly but I feel like this is a big accomplishment. Also started on my new meds today.

I can't shake this feeling of impending doom right now.

 

That's my default setting! That and being an anxious mess as I apply for jobs as my dept collapses around me.

 

I once thought I was most like a killer whale. Running with a pack of awesome hunters, and enjoying freedom most can only dream of...now all of my "pack" is either dead, in jail, addicts, or have sold out....zach what's his name's speech in the hangover in reverse, haha.

My power animal is now the sea urchin. I am a survivor, mostly solitary, have spikes to keep everything a safe distance away, when I make a move it's slow and deliberate, and aside from one or two predators, I don't have much to worry about.

Sea urchins rule the world. The tire fire that the trump administration is will soon become proof of that.

 

Don't wait for things to make you happy.

Feeling good has to be something that comes from within.
