I feel like the percussion in "Island Radio" will end up as a stand-out at shows

Cringe-worthy watching people try to police other people's opinions

I totally forgot about this I'm excited to check it later tonight

Been an Andrew fan for a very long time, but I am not digging this album at all. Hopefully I'll catch on after a few listens. Brooklyn is just awful

I don't understand why everyone dislikes "Brooklyn" so much when "Island Radio" exists

Brooklyn's chorus is so grating. Island Radio is fine.

I find much of the album disappointingly bland. It's not bad, it's just like...cotton candy. I forget about it as soon as it's gone.

Fire Escape, Birthday Song, and Dead Man's Dollar are good. The rest are mostly mediocre, except for Brooklyn, which is terrible.

When he says "okay, alright, just let me think" and then goes off in that speech/sing style like he did in "I'm Ready"s bridge it just makes me smile and really starts this album off strong.

This thing has some monster hooks and some real good lyrics.

I liked this on my first listen, will probably give it another at some point today, but Island Radio is probably the worst song he's ever written, up there with See Her On The Weekend and Rainy Girl

High Dive (especially the piano-acoustic version) is still one of the best songs he's made in a while. I hope there is at least one song that comes close to that on this album. Will be giving it a listen on my way home from work later.
