Man that 2002 lineup was great, but also holy shit if the 2010 lineup happened today heads would explode.

2010: Jay Z, Gorillaz, Muse, Atoms for Peace, LCD Soundsystem, Florence & The Machine, Phoenix, Sia, Bassnectar, Them Crooked Vultures, Vampire Weekend, Deadmau5, Passion Pit, Grizzly Bear, The xx, Pavement, She & Him, The Avett Brothers, As Tall As Lions, Faith No More, Tiesto, Major Lazer, MGMT, David Guetta, The Dead Weather, Coheed and Cambria, Kaskade, Flying Lotus, Pretty Lights, Beach House, Steel Train, Spoon, Julian Casablancas, Jonsi, Sunny Day Real Estate, Julian Casablancas, Mutemath, Local Natives.

Crazy how many of the lower billed acts blew up to headliner status within just 6 years.

Rumors coming in that Panic at the Disco might be a late add this year, that'd certainly be fun

This is real? Color me intrigued.

This will be my first year. Have been to Sasquatch so I'm somewhat experienced with multiple day fests, but do you guys have any advice as far as packing goes? Things you wish you would have remembered?

It's quite possible. Panic cancelled a college show on the Saturday of weekend 2. The college said "touring commitments" even though no dates are scheduled, and apparently the college told a student or students that Panic was asked to come to Coachella. Could also be Brendan performing with someone else (no idea who it would be though), but late add is super possible!

I usually pack relatively light, but if you like beer it's worth going to like Total Wine and perusing their canned section instead of going with normal light beers. Umm, bring games for around the camp, face wipes for dirt, ummm tons of sunscreen, definitely a re-fillable water bottle for the free water, and maybe a track bag or small backpack for carrying stuff

Have you seen any from the last week? And I saw them on their last tour. He sounds better than you think.

Haha I'll watch a video. Never really dove into their stuff though, so it's a long shot

Wish I wasn't on the opposite coast as I would totally go to both of Meg Myers' sets on the 17 and 24.

You'd spend $700 just to see her twice? Doubt it!!! Haha

Hahaha plenty of other good artists too (Wolf Alice on the same days), but you're right. Would rather see her play one full set for $35-40 than two shortened sets for $700.

  17. I want to go to this at least one day. Don't think I can without destroying my wallet though.

Keep an eye on craigslist, plenty of people who buy weekend passes and only go one day, then sell the other day(s)

Currently tripping down from Seattle, just made it to northern Cali. Is anybody on chorus.fm going this year?

And I cannot believe you aren't allowed to bring bananas into California. I mean I understand why and it's not just bananas. But still.

Lol wait, someone gonna have to explain this to me!

As explained to me it has something to do with making sure foreign parasites and stuff don't find their way in. Or something. They aren't exactly thorough in the process, though.

"Have any fruits, vegetables, or pets? No?? Have a great day!"

Could very well be Do Lab additions, but 3 "surprise" unnamed acts have been added to the lineup page Coachella | Lineup

Could be big acts. I remember in 2014 they added Julian Casablancas and Pixies like two days before the first weekend.

Yep, and believe it or not both Price and Kanye have been late adds
