X-Force is my favorite design. I love the AoA one too.

Still super bummed about my LCS closing. Picked up The Flash by Mark Waid, Wonder Woman by George Perez, and Green Arrow by Kevin Smith. All good sized books for about $36. All trades were 60% off so I had to stop myself from spending way more.

In terms of costumes that look like one of his classic ones, the brown one will always look best, by far.

I prefer my Wolverine to be in more casual clothes, though, so I guess DOFP and OML are my real top picks. Also love me some Patch, and of course Weapon X is awesome.

All leather (from Morrison's New X-Men run) is a fantastic look for him, too.

Speaking of Wolverine I just finished the Paul Jenkins Origin story and enjoyed it a lot. Not what I was expecting at all since it was very different from how I remember his origin in the movies.

Started a few things, Fray from Joss Whedon because I really need to get into the Buffy comic verse pronto, finally starting Fables, I loved the Wolf Among Us before I got into comics and kept forgetting to start it, and also the newest Black Widow run since I liked the way @Tim described it, loved the first trade.

Chris Samnee's work on that Black Widow series (plus Matt Wilson colors) really is just plain fantastic. I hope he's doing another Marvel series with Mark Waid after it wraps up.

And I own Whedon's Fray but haven't read it, lol. Got it one time at Half Price Books.

They manage to say so much with the art in Black Widow without using too much dialogue and the action scenes are so exhilarating. I find myself making audible explosion noises like a kid looking at comics for the first time.

Fray is really great so far, it feels pretty far removed from the TV show so I don't think my unabashed love is getting in the way too much. Lots of Sci Fi in there too.

Finished Locke and Key! The ending was really satisfying, even if I thought the final battle was a bit of a letdown.

Got through the fourth Hack/Slash omnibus. The story is confusing at points and wayyyyy out there, but I'm enjoying the hell out of it. Never would have thought a Hatchet crossover could be a thing, but I am so damn happy it was. Can't wait to see how it end.

Scott Snyder did a really good interview on comixologys podcast. Biggest takeaway was he and Jock have started work on Wytches volume 2 and that part of the reason it has taken so long is that Jock was Costume Designer for The Last Jedi.

Wow I can't believe of all the books, Jessica Jones is the one that finally revisits the events of Time Runs Out/Secret Wars. I wonder if it's just the beginning of a larger exploration of what it means for the characters that do remember Vs the ones who don't. Or maybe they'll never talk about it again. One can only dream.

I'm also putting my chips on The Purple Man showing back up in JJ and being significantly more David Tennant-y. "JESSICAAAAH!"

Also, while I'm sure the new JLA book is going to be fun based off the first issue, it's makes absolutely zero sense that Batman made the team "as a more grounded, human counterpart to the JL, not gods." How the fuck are Lobo, Vixen, The Ray, and even Killer Frost any less alien/godlike than the Justice League?

Been reading Samnee and Waid's Daredevil and loving it! They're a great team together (although Rivera and Waid together were amazing.)

Have the first trade of Waid and Samnee's Black Widow, but want to finish Edmundson and Noto's run first because their first BW trade is amazing.

Just started Fraction and Aja's Hawkeye and holy shit it's so good. Finished the second volume today and literally went,"Oh no, goddamn it!" at one point haha

Comic book store I've been going to fucked up and got in 5 copies of Red Sonja #0 instead of #2. I guess its okay since I haven't read #0 yet.

Doctor Aphra continues to be my favorite Star Wars related book. Every character in that book is just great. They all play off each other so well.

All-Star Batman is something. Not sure how I feel about the villain of the month thing they are running with right now.

Unworthy Thor has been crazy good. Can't wait to see shit hit the fan in the next issue. Really loving this story. The Jane Foster bits in there were so good.

I'm getting a bit put off by Moonshine. It started off so strong, and now it feels like it is just tip-toeing along. I just want something to go down already.

I have a few more books to catch up on, but I am sooooo behind with homework.

I'm pretty sure the whole purpose of All-Star Batman was for Scott Snyder to play with all the villains that he didn't get a chance to on his Batman run, so I wouldn't expect it to change anytime soon. However, I'm remember reading an interview where he said that they're not just unrelated Villain of the month stories and the connections will start to be more apparent as the book moves along.

Unworthy Thor has been fucking amazing. Jason Aaron writes a ridiculously good Odinson. This is probably one of my absolute favorite Marvel books right now. After this mini ends I'm betting that he will return to his earlier epic Odinson tale he was writing starting with the God Butcher arc, based on Gorr's repeated appearances here and that Esad Ribic-drawn future vision from Civil War II showing Future King Odinson vs Adult Loki wielding Gorr's sword.
