First proper level in Nioh down. Level design isn't quite as ingenious as Souls often gets but the combat is so incredibly satisfying. Also incredible satisfying - COLORED LOOT. I love me some colored loot.

 

I'm on the boss. I'm just trying to get the ki pulse down.

 

I'm still not used to the things that set the combat apart from Souls, I keep forgetting about stances and ki pulses.

 

Just beat him. Solid first boss.

 

Yeah I'm shit with stances, ha.

 

Preordered deluxe edition Horizon Zero Dawn because that statue is fucking dope.

 

If you have a PS4, you can get all of the games for it so that actually will make it kinda easy to jump in since you won't need to grab multiple consoles or anything. It just might take you a while to go through them all lol

Playing in order of release date is still the best way to go about it imo.

 

Seeing this is just making me so pumped. I am a huge fan of the series, probably one of my favorites but I haven't played everything.

March can't come faster.

 

I've played KH1 and 2 and I love them both I just cba with all the spin offs. I'm a bit worried I'll be completely lost whenever KH3 finally comes out but whatever.

 

Yep, one of the most frustrating part of the series has always been the fact it was spread out over almost a half dozen systems. Now it'll be nice and simple, just follow a few collections in order (maybe switching up KH2 and the 358/2 movie but whatever, close enough)

 

I've only played most of recoded, and I'm still slowly playing unchained. I've played the first two worlds of 1, and a tiny bit of birth by sleep. Soo yeah. I def need the 1.5+2.5 bundle lol

 

They aren't spin offs! They're super important to the story!

 

I honestly thought there were only two Kingdom Heart games and then just those dumb .5 ones which I assumed was just the game with dlc.

 

Yeah without playing all of the games KH3 will most likely make zero sense. It's so spread out and each of them have so many important pieces to the story.

I'd also recommend reading up on the end of Chi (the original JP browser game) because the end of the game has extremely critical plot points and it's not mentioned elsewhere lol

 

I know but they either have weird ass controls or they're some characters I don't want to play as. I need my Sora Donald and Goofy fix.

 

I'll probably find some cool YouTube recap before 3.

3 would be a bad game if it didn't include SOME kind of flashbacks for people who didn't play every game. I wouldn't be too worried if you don't play every single one. Hell, I've played all of them except the two mobile ones (and I watched the collection movies for those) and I'll probably have a hard time following KH3.

Edit: Basically, if you've played 1, 2 and BBS I think you'll be fine.

Why did they do it this way? Lol I get that Zelda has a screwy timeline too, but I just don't get why developers do this haha

 

Yeah those are the 3 big ones.

I'd also recommend watching the ending cutscenes of DDD and Chi too since both of those set it up. Thankfully you dont have to play them and you can get all the important stuff from just the scenes.

 

Aqua is such a good character, and BBS 0.2 made me like her even more

 

90% through Sleeping Dogs story and 80% through collectibles. It's the home stretch right now.

 

Getting fucked up by this second boss in Nioh.

 

She took me a little while, thankfully the run to the boss is maybe 30 seconds long. I was getting destroyed but got the timing for dodging the paralysis projectile down and she was way easier then. I ended up switching to a faster weapon (dual swords, was using an axe before) and occasionally threw a bomb or shot an arrow when I saw a spare moment. Beat her with a sliver of health and no elixers left.
