I love that Straight to Hell cover. I will often just skip to "When it's Christmas out in Ho Chi Minh City, kiddie say papa papa papa papa papa-san, take me homeeeee" and play that part a few times lol.

 

The drums are fantastic on this entire thing but especially on Thick as Thieves. So fucking catchy. I find myself air drumming the entire thing

 

My mom likes Lookers. She's officially a Cool Mom

 

Realizing this week that The Menzingers are among my 5 favorite bands ever.

 

When Gaslight Anthem gets back together, I'd say there's about a 95% chance we get a Gaslight/Menzingers coheadliner or direct support. I had never heard of Menzingers until that American Slang tour they opened a leg of. They are now my two favorite bands. Would be a banger.

 

I'm at a lost as to how 'Even For An Eggshell' is not making any of these top 10 lists. Taste is surely a whimsical draughtsman.

 

I think this is definitely gonna happen. Probably Gaslights first tour back.

I also would love to see Menz direct support for AM!

Love the new album more and more with each listen...perfect for us around age 30, most relatable release I can remember since my super early twenties/teens.

 

Black Mass for me lately...can't wait to sing along to the ending at one of their shows

I don't know what I can say to express how strongly I feel about this album. I would love it regardless, but the themes of the big 3-0 hit extra. There is just so much on this record that SCREAMS where I am at in life right now.

It might be February, but it will be a TALL task to have another album dethrone this one for the remainder of the year.
