Yayyy I'm so happy!! I love Hudson House, I can't believe I forgot to recc it!! The head chef there (and 3 other restraurants in the area) is from Top Chef and she's amazing. American Junkie is definitely trash haha, bro-city at night, the whole pier-area kinda has that problem actually. Glad you enjoyed everything, it really is kinda a mini-foodie city that keeps growing

I was PISSED at lunch. Our waitress was working her ass off bc she had a good bit of tables and this dickhead was straight yelling at her bc he didn't like the cheese on his burger so she took it back and the cooks made another one. He blamed her again bc he didn't like that either but he was like I don't want to wait any longer, I'll eat it. She has nothing to do with how the food is made, you know?

My mom got mad at me bc I told him he was an asshole and should apologize to her, I wouldn't have said anything if my dad wasn't sitting beside me so he could help me out if the dude wanted to fight bc he seemed like that kind of guy. He just turned back around and then left.

My parents paid for lunch and left her $15 and I tipped $50 on top and wrote her an encouraging note bc she didn't see all this go down bc she was so busy and I waitressed for close to 7 years and it's fucking hard. Like any customer service job I figure.

I by no means had that extra $50 but I'll pay my bills one way or another and I was happy to give it to her. Just asked her to pay a good deed forward. It's people like him who make the world fucking suck. It's not that hard to be a decent human being. Good god, I wanted to punch him.
