the only bad loss of that group is the magic one. the heat and sixers are cooking and have been for two weeks now. they'll both probably finish the season better than us because they are better teams. the magic aren't, i'll give you that.

using a graphic with net ratings to make your argument is dumb. the raptors have a higher net rating than the cavs but no one is in the streets saying they're the best team in the east because that's ludicrous. there are some things that can be taken from games without looking st numbers on paper, if you think the bucks are a better team right now without giannis on the court, you're a moron

  2. They are a bad team with him on the court and a bad team with him off the court

It doesn't really matter - the hype got too real for this team and hopefully theyll be better next year with Middleton and another lottery pick and Dellevedova only playing 15 min off the bench

  3. This stupid team is still only a game or so out of the 8th seed too lol

Honestly, the Bucks are fine. Bad stretches are going to occur in 82 games. They are playing with house money this year. I don't know anyone who picked them to be a playoff contender after Middleton went down. If anyone did they are probably lying. But, here we are coming up on All Star break and they are one game out. A lot can change in two months and change.

I haven't seen the last two Bucks games, but it's cool to see Thon starting and putting up some decent stat lines.

  7. Wonder what Hornets do with the extra roster spot. Fans are going to be mad at this trade but Hibbert and Hawes are trash. I know Plumlee isn't very good but his style is a better fit for our offense.

  8. Hmm ok

  12. Yup we get two players equivalent to Plumee while paying half as much

  13. So Hammond turned Brandon Jennings into Middleton, Beasley, Snell, Hibbert, and Hawes haha

From a pure cap management perspective, this is a clear win for Milwaukee.

  15. Plumlee's contract looks rough but with the cap going up even more next season it's balances out a little bit. Still an odd trade for Charlotte. I could see Plumlee being decent under Clifford though.

I think the trade makes sense short-term for Charlotte since they aren't really taking on salary immediately, but I am curious why they felt the need to take 3 additional years of salary with Plumlee. Looking at their cap situation, it's going to be interesting to watch because if they don't take a jump next year, than there will be trade talks for Kemba due to all of the money committed already and him being in his prime. I just don't think this was the player and contract to take on, personally. Their cap approach is correct, given they aren't a star heavy team. I would have kept Hibbert as the 2C and gone the scrap heap route/10-day route for the 3C. Then assess things this summer.

  17. I pretty much agree with all of this, but there is a 0% chance they trade Kemba.

Haha yeah, I am stretching there for sure. My thought process is that Kemba is 26 and has two years after this season. Given the long-term commitments already, plus any draft picks/signings, a Kemba extension or re-signing would likely put you in a similar spot to Portland (maybe not as dire). I'm assuming Charlotte is not looking to be a tax team in the current salary approach. Kemba in his prime would net a nice return so I went with it. I would imagine they'd really look to unload the other contracts first.

Jordan is a nice addition to the dunk contest. I would have loved to see Nance Jr though.
