They were one of the many games caught up in the disintegration of THQ including, but not limited to, Saints Row and Darksiders (please make another!) It makes sense the game wasn't the greatest.

 

Then when Crytek bought the IP, things got worse. At least they were paid when THQ were funding lol.

damn, game development seems like such a fucking nightmare sometimes

 

I believe Nordic Games, that make the Darksiders games, among others picked up the THQ moniker. I don't know how smart that was but we will see!

Any Xbone siege heads in the house? I could use some buds to play with.

 

I've heard this, but they seemed committed to fixing it post-launch. I guess I'll see how that panned out soon.

 

It's not broken as far as I know, just dull. But I would guess you can still have some fun with it.

 

Definitely a difference between broken and bad.

Much harder to fix mediocre game design without extensive post-launch rehauling which can be costly on a sunk project and doesn't nornally happen.

Ori and the Blind Forest is my favorite thing on the Xbox One and one of my favorite games in a long time. I love this game so much. Beat the regular edition a few months ago, now running through the definitive edition on hard. Everything about it is perfect.

The soundtrack to me is it's best quality. Not to diminish anything else about that game, its' just the OST is that good. This kind of track plays as you're just exploring and battling about in the world. No need for specific battle music.

 

I'm waiting for Killer Frost, if she's not confirmed already. She was my favorite.

 

I'm hoping for her too!

 

Finally got around to finishing Chrono Trigger after having it for like 7 years. Love that game.

 

Started The Last Guardian last night, it's alright so far

Finished Yakuza 0. Game is fantastic. Story resolved itself about how I thought it would (which, being a prequel, is to be expected of course) but the gameplay is top notch and just about everything else is top of the franchise stuff. 2 still has my favorite story though, hope they remake that one like they did the first game because that would be incredible.

Gonna finally dig into Rise of the Tomb Raider next.

 

I really want to play Yakuza 0. Never played one of those games but I hear good things.

Last night I started going for the TF2 platinum. Got the gauntlet trophy and started running it on master difficulty

 

I just downloaded the free weekend version but I'm pretty horrible. It's very different from the Vegas games
