The thing MJ had, that nobody else can ever have, is that he radically altered the shape of the game. And now that it's been changed, you can't replicate that. It's why nobody will ever really be Jordan.

Yeah, if I'm the Cavs, I l think about sitting Love like 2-4 weeks. Back issues are nothing to mess with (and he's had them in the past) and there is absolutely no urgency to get him back. Regardless of how bad the Cavs are struggling currently, they'll still sleepwalk their way into the finals. So just get the guy healthy.

I kind of wish Toronto and Boston were playing better (and dare I say ahead of us in the standings) to at least light a fire of some sort. Cleveland's not helping themselves, but the other teams aren't exactly pushing us either.

I get what you're saying and I think a lot of what LeBron said last week was kind of 'manufactured' to create some adversity. It's nothing new as he did the same thing in each of the last two seasons (unfollowed cavs, called out Love, took his 2-week vacation or whatever it was). The problem is, the East is so bad, there's still no real adversity in terms of competition. I think LeBron and the Cavs are nervous that they'll sleepwalk through East with no competition then all of a sudden they go up against a juggernaut and they won't know how to handle the adversity.

Yeah, this is definitely this year's version of creating adversity. Hopefully they start doing those team get togethers again haha. I actually wish they would just focus on integrating Korver (in different rotations) and playing better team defense. That metric has to improve. We are pretty beatable team this year when kept below the century mark, and a lot of that is our inability to defend consistently.

Excuse you. C's have won 11 of their last 15. Which is better than the Cavs have done.

Haha fair point. But, they are still 2.5 games behind despite Cleveland sitting out January and you guys rolling. I was going for more of a macro theme, but I should have given more respect to your recent play.

Yeah the C's slow start (pretty much .500 basketball) left a bit of a hill to climb. I think there are still only a small handful of games so far where the whole starting 5 have been healthy with rotating injuries to Crowder, IT, Horford and Bradley (plus, Olynyk, Zeller, Young, Gerald Green, etc.)

Injuries are always a bummer because it prevents you from knowing what you really have. I wish the Cavs had a tougher February, but it's pretty lean in terms of top contenders. I would really like a Boston or Toronto game. I think that would be a telling match up. You guys have a fun match up tonight though.

jazz are good but were so terrible in the second quarter, no team should double us up in a quarter

  12. Bucks are garbage

  13.
  14. At least the Bucks will hopefully get a top 10 pick

nope, we're gonna be stuck in the 12-14 range aka the worst place to be

  16. At this pace they'll get into the top 10 - they absolutely suck

  17. Wish Giannis would remember how to basketball

  18. Since Giannis hit that game winner in New York the Bucks have gone 2-13 and Giannis has regressed a ton

  19. He probably shouldn't even be starting in the all star game

    very dumb cmon

if we lose to brooklyn and the suns by the end of the month, i'll start to believe that. it's a very rough stretch but it's still a team that can play to the level of anyone in the conference. they'll snap it hopefully with middleton back.

  22. I mean they lost to the Magic Heat and Sixers twice (one of those without Embiid) so I fully expect them to lose both those games

  23. Where's the lie

  24. Curry with six 3s in the first quarter lol

    Hornets are shit

  25. Honestly tho Giannis struggles are because Kidd insists on having the offense initiated through shitty Dellevedova and has killed Point Giannis
