I had a strange dream last night that I went to see Blink-182 live and it was with the current lineup. Somehow I was back stage and the guys were getting ready and I look over around the tour buses and I see Tom with a spray painted white and black guitar. I walk over to him and go "hey man! Are you joining the guys up on stage tonight!?" and he said "nope. Hanging out with my family." I looked at him and then looked at his bus and said "you have your own bus and you're strumming and guitar. That usually means you're on tour and you're warming up." he then looks at me and goes "I wanted to take my family on tour so I figured we'd just follow this one. I own the name anyway." He then told me he'd be right back and handed me his guitar. I remember the paint being badly done and it being tacky. My girlfriend was with me in the dream and I just remember taking the guitar off of me after strumming it and leaning it against Tom's bus and telling her we needed to get away from him.

Kind of a weird dream - but also really funny.

 

I've never heard of a Blink fan not liking Damnit. Interesting.

 

Can't wait for Tom to come back!!!!

 

Hmm thought i was in the minority of people who didn't like "No Future". The weird thing is that the band members have mostly said in interviews that it was their favorite track. That track, in particular, sounded the most like Goldfinger in the vocal delivery to me.

 

No Future would be one of my favorites if the na na na's weren't so prevalent.

 

I love Dammit. I just love it the least on Dude Ranch :)

 

Yeah the way Matt delivers his verse is textbook Feldmann. That was really the only time I thought the Goldfinger comparison made any sense. Matt's bridge is a highlight of the record but it's definitely one of the weaker songs on there. I still find it a fun track most days though.

 

The first time I heard NF, I hated it, then it quickly became one of my favorites, though it could be about 30 seconds shorter. sometimes I feel like they've been singing the na-na's for about 20 min, then again, it could just be the weed

 

The nanana's were overdone on the new album and it is part of why I don't really like it overall.

 

No future is my number two on the album behind only cynical. ;-;

 

What do you think...is it a tracklist for California Deluxe in the back? Those song titles were not shown before.

6 & 7) Tim Song

 

I feel like they have been working on this deluxe version about as long as the original

 

Interesting. Nice catch. None of those song titles match the tracks in that picture Travis posted a month or so ago nor does it match that interview Mark and Travis gave a few weeks ago about the Deluxe Edition. Could be other titles to the remaining songs. After all they teased 17 of them.

 

Travis mentioned that it's like a new album and even better than California. But label didn't allow them to release it under the new title.

 

I think it's for the Goldfinger album. Not Blink.

 

Yeah but because of Feldmann blink basically is Goldfinger now so same difference right?

 

and Travis playing drums on the Goldfinger album only makes that more true. haha

 

Yep Matt's verse sounds a lot like pieces of the Goldfinger album "Open Your Eyes" to me. I like the song, but it has the most things about it that I don't like, if that makes any sense. I guess that speaks to how much I enjoyed the album as a whole.

 

So probably they have left Tim's song for the Goldfinger album.
And I think this snippet from the last year was for the Goldfinger album too.

 

Yeah pretty sure that tracklist is for Goldfinger. Too many new names there when we already know what, 9 titles for the bonus songs?

 

That's what frustrates me about it!!! Song had the potential to be so good but the chorus ruined it for me.

 

Someone compared the chorus to that most recent Matchbox Twenty single and that actually made me like the song more cause I liked that song lol

 

Gave No Future another listen and yeah, I just don't get the appeal at all.

 

matt's part on no future was a highlight for me.

 

What's one thing you guys don't like about the band ? Thought I'd change it up a bit.
