@Craig Ismaili Solid move including them. While I loved LP, I'm really excited for something new from them besides songs from the two EP's I've had for forever.

Which reminds me, you guys seen this?

 

This list rules. Besides the obvious ones (BN, MO) I LOVE seeing Animal Flag on there. One of my most anticipated as well. LP is so so good.

 

I literally just heard that for the first time on the night I was writing this blurb for most anticipated.

I'm not nearly as into it as I am on everything on LP, but it's a really unique direction for them and I'm excited to see what happens if they go in that direction. I just think his melodies are usually too good and they don't stand out as much there.

 

It actually sounds like their early work, which is no longer under the Animal Flag moniker, they call it "Bad Dreams"

That Bad Dreams album reminds me of this one by Weaver at the loom which is also quite excellent. All their stuff is.

 

There's a lot of great bands listed here that I'm excited for, but I needed to mention Tides of Man. Young and Courageous was such a fantastic album and I can't wait to hear the new album.

Syd, Circa Survive and Lorde are my most anticipated that I actually expect to get released in 2017. I have more releases I "anticipate" this year but know it's wishful thinking.

Portugal. The Man's new album Doomin +Gloomin, MTB - VOIDS, Brand New, Fleet Foxes, FJM. Everything Top Dawg Entertainment puts out (let's go SZA!). At the Drive In.
