I finally beat it ugh the bone crushing wingsuit ones are so tough

 

Flying around in Gravity Rush is so fun.

 

Not to derail the actual games discussion because I'm sure it's been asked many times over the duration of the thread, but I'm trying to get into a podcast listening habit. Any decent video game ones that people would recommend? Particular PS4 oriented as that's my go-to console but regardless, I'm open to anything.

 

@WhosBroden? Since most console games are on Xbox One and PS4, you really only have to avoid Nintendo podcasts and dedicated Xbox podcasts. I listen to the following (I bolded my favorites):

Waypoint Radio
Giant Bombcast
Giant Beastcast
Idle Weekend
Video Games Hot Dog
Rebel FM
Game Scoop!
Idle Thumbs (though they have recently become a multi-topic podcast)
The Game Informer Show
Player One Podcast
8-4 Play
CAGcast (though I have largely stopped listening to this one)

There are two notable Play Station podcasts (both of which I do not listen to): Podcast Beyond and PS I Love You XOXO.

My list also excludes Nintendo and Xbox podcasts I listen to.

Easy Allies podcast. Easily my favourite gaming podcast.

 

The harvesting aspect kinda turns me off, and that was my least favorite thing about RotTR. Everything else has me slightly back on board.

 

I am on the last story mission in Sunset Overdrive. Debating whether I spend another day or two cleaning up collectibles or move on for now. Game is a lot of fun, so I may give it a few more days in my queue.

Then I think I'll go to Dead Rising 4 or Homefront the Revolution. Feel like I am forgetting another AAA game that I was planning on getting to..

 

Homefront is suppose to be awful

 

Just finished Doom. Took a few hours to get into it, but by the end I really enjoyed the campaign. The gun play was great. The ease of switching between weapons, the need to switch constantly and all their secondary functions are the best gun mechanics that I can think of in recent FPS.

Smite season 4 started on PC and I'm excited for next week when it hits console.

It's also cool since ranked isn't active for a week to allow people to learn new builds so a lot of pros are doing in house games with other pros. The best part is most of them streaming it and we can hear the comms.

Yes

 

I've heard subsiquent patches have improved it a lot. Also, I have a soft spot for shooters. One of my most anticipated games this year is Sniper Ghost Warrior 3..

 

Can't recommend The Videogamer.co.uk Podcast highly enough. Favourite at the minute.

When Jim Sterling was still a part of Destructoid, Podtoid was a lot of fun to listen to.

 

I just got the girl that unlocks all the lock boxes and now I'm ready to 100% the collectibles.
