Good lord did I love those lineups, but did they ever have a pitcher other than Nagy?

 

They added Danny Martinez on the way out of his career. He was good for us, but he was winding down and was the guy who hit Puckett. Chad Ojea pitched really well on the '97 team. Jarrett Wright was the young "stud" pitcher on the '97 team too along with Nagy. The landscape was better for the Tribe in '97.

 

Oh yeah! And wasn't Chuck Finley there for a minute in his twilight?

 

He was a few years later. He pitched ok for us and then eventually was out because he had legal issue stemming from getting beat up by his then wife, who was the woman in that one Whitesnake video.

 

Excited to read that bullpen article @schlotty. Girardi has always, in my opinion, always either over managed or under managed and there's rarely a middle for him.

 

2nd Lemke SS Blauser

 

Blauser was great! Very solid player that never got many accolades.

 

I remember idolizing Ryan Klesko. Not because of his talent, but because of this one trading card of his I had. It was like a prized possession.

 

We have an annual quail hunt here and Klesko and Rocker were both in my group. Klesko was super nice and I'm sure no one needs me to tell y'all how big of an asshole Rocker was. I was the only girl and he kept coming for me and I ended up out shooting him. That felt good.

Pitcher List is a great resource for anyone wanting to get SUPER nerdy about pitching stuff. The GIFs, pitch type percentages and average speed of pitch are particularly interesting, imo.

 

Cool website. Looks like it is still in the development stage. Should be cool to see how expansive it gets.

 

I don't want the Braves to move. I have such fond memories of the Ted. They are building in a weird place if you ask me. I know one of the main reasons is traffic is bad at the bottleneck

 

Only reason I really want the Braves to move is because it's like 20 mins closer to me, and I go to a ton of games.

That's my sister's name and it is rarely spelled that way so that's pretty cool. She gets called Callie a lot.

Same! I feel like all I need is a radio with a Sox game. Or the windows wide open and Jerry Remy and Don Orsillo's (RIP) voices all through the house
