These guys are doing a free in-store acoustic thing at a record store not far from my work next week. It's gonna be crazy busy, but should be fun as fuck if I can get in.

They sure as hell know how to start an album. "Oh yeah, everything is terrible - buying marijuana makes you feel like a criminal"

Is it just me or did Lookers get re-mixed? I'll admit that I held off on listening to it the past 2 months or so because I was afraid of wearing it out before the album came out.

I'm listening w my studio headphones and the leak I found says its 320 and it sounds perfect. Loving the album so far, only about halfway through.

Can't wait for the time to pass where I don't think of Lookers and After the Party as songs that I heard previously and they just blend in with the album as a whole, because there's two of the best songs here. This album is far stronger than Rented World IMO and we'll see if it holds up like OTIP, which is one of my all-time top albums.

The Greg songs are kind of like what the 59 sound would sound like if the songwriter wasn't so innocent growing up.

Already pre-ordered the vinyl and I can't find a decent place to get the leak so I think I'm gonna hold off for now.

Charlie's Army and House on Fire are so catchy and fun and then Black Mass comes along and is like yeah that was fun but I'm gonna fuck your shit up now.

    One of their best "ballads"

Good guy, but a bad dude

I was thinking the same thing but I deleted my old copy of it and am too lazy to compare.

It was a brutally long night in class knowing this was waiting for me. Cannot wait to dive into this. A lot of months leading up to this...finally here. Probably my most anticipated album since Get Hurt.

  12. Easily Tom's best batch of songs. God damn I love this after one listen. Pretty much exactly what I was hoping for.

A LITTLE IRISH IN YOUR BLOOD! A LITTLE POLISH IN YOUR NAAAAAME!

There's not a bad song on here. How are they going to choose only a handful of songs from this to play live?? Tom's songs are top notch, arguably his best to date.

I'm so impressed by this album. Met my unrealistically high expectations and then some. Do your friends a favor and force them to listen to this tomorrow.

"Your wild years that you often mention/The sands of time in an hourglass/THAT YOU'RE ALWAYS BEGGING FOR BACK" is the highlight of the album for me. That and Greg trying not to get his ass kicked by Charlie.

  18. was a little distracted (by some of the terrible things that happened in the white house while i was work) while listening to this but it sounded good. last two took a little time for me. "The Bars" really perked my ears

I had some brutally high expectations for this...and this album hit those expectations and then some.

I loved every damn song on this. It has such a perfect blend of Menzingers, Green Day, and bits of Gaslight.

Would say Midwestern States, The Bars, and Your Wild Years are immediate favorites subject to change every day with every listen.

Haven't had an album in awhile actually exceed expectations like this. Having a job that I travel constantly, Midwestern States hits so close to home. There isnt a single bad song on this album. Don't think anyone in this genre even comes close to this band.

    This is very, very good.

The Bars might be one of my favorite songs they've ever written.

Second listen this is incredible. Anyone else feel that there is more low end in this record than their last two?

This is fantastic, and the best album to come out so far this year.

Really glad I'm a new fan and only listened to the singles once they are some of the best songs on here
