Well thats a jump to conculsions if I've ever seen one. Frankly, I couldn't care less about what you or anyone else thinks of me on here, or any other forum for that matter. I was simply responding to the question of dumb/petty reasons to not listen to an artist or band that some one brought up. I'm well aware that its irrelivent to the music that an artist creates (therefore dumb and/or petty). Thats the whole point of what I was saying and has nothing to do with any possible insecurities regarding my image or a want to feel like I'm better than anyone else.

To be clear: was not talking about you, or anyone in particular - but I agree with you said? That where I think it stems from usually - not wanting to be associated with a particular fan base

Van with David wrote some amazing songs, no doubt. And I know that Van with David was more about solos and parting, but Sammy is just a better singer overall. Plus I'd throw out Human Beings or Don't Tell Me What Love Can Do as their best song.

 

There's an unpopular opinion of mine. I don't really like Van Halen. Talent aside, I just don't particularly enjoy their music.

I was all about Van Halen in middle school, but I can't say I've listened to anything by them in the last 2+ years.

 

David Lee Roth is at least top ten frontmen

 

Nah, Timeline > YRN 2 = Culture.

 

Coheed & Cambria is one of the best/most important rock bands out there right now

Van Halen is one of the all-time-great rock albums. The rest of their career varies.

 

"Top of the World" is an awesome Hagar song

They are literally the only good hair metal band.
