Sucks about Friendzone. Didn't know they did beats for Antwon or that ASAP track. Absolutely love the production on 808's and Dark Grapes III.

so sad about the friendzone news, their work with main attrakionz has always had a very special place in my heart, particularly chuch which resonates with me in a way only a handful of songs do. i remember listening to dx every day on the way to class when it came out and their kuchibiru network tapes and their fader mix were always in constant rotation. james will be missed

 

is everything pre-barter 6 worth checking out for young thug? im listening to Tha Tour Pt. 1 rn and love it.

1017 Thug and Tha Tour are probably the highlights of his pre-Barter stuff.

 

I haven't heard the I Came From Nothing series though, if someone else can comment on those.

 

1017 thug is one of the most important tapes of the decade, even if it is a tad uneven
