    Give what you can.

I sure hope Schwarber isn't out for too long, but it's really nice not to have to be in panic mode as a Cubs fan. With Soler/Bryant to take left and Baez back before long, I don't think we'll miss a beat. Also, I'm really hoping Kawasaki gets called up. Dude had a stellar Spring and I'm really looking forward to more of his dugout/interview shenanigans. I think this team is going to be more fun to watch than any team in history. That includes fictional teams like the Indians from the Major League movies.

Currently wishing I was enjoying the tailgate party right now with The 7 Line instead of stuck in my office :(

Same. Watching Gameday on MLB in the office isn't quite the same...

    Eric Campbell boooed LMAO!

Aw man. You know, I really really wanted Murphy to be on our team just for this day. His standing ovation would've broke CitiField. Have him play this game and then trade him or whatever.

    #1 pop = Wilmer Flores

Feels like every time Severino pitches, someone fucks up and forces him to throw a ton more pitches. Ackley at first base, ugh.

Be sure to drink your Ovaltine.

That Greg Bird injury is going to hurt us when Tex goes down with injury. It's inevitable he gets hurt.

Yeah, Ackley is pretty suspect at first. Severino is still going to most likely be our most consistent starter this year, so I think (and hope) an outing like this is a rare occurrence.

Yeah, he had the Yanks off balance all day. Only gave up 2 hits, and every out seemed like it was a strikeout or a pop up.

I never get as much practice in on instruments as I do during baseball season!

Put on the Yankees game and practiced guitar the whole time. Now watching the Mets game from the beginning and gonna be practicing piano. I do this a few times a week during the season and always feel like I get so much work done.

    I love baseball season.

Yeah almost guaranteed. Hope he doesn't and Bird wouldn't have been needed anyways. I think he had shoulder stuff going on for awhile so at least he can get fully healthy. But yeah, miracle if Tex doesn't get hurt lol.

Still just a couple months in the majors, getting the pitch count down will come with time, and he has shown maturity to get out of quite a few jams. Definitely doesn't really get flustered. I would've started him in the one game playoff last year, I definitely trust him more than anyone here already haha. He's gonna be great.

Cleveland pummeling Chicago right now. Was that game delayed to to rain or snow? I imagine the weather in Chicago is still pretty cold right now.

  25. I have a sneaking suspicion Danny Salazar is going to make an argument for Cleveland having three aces by the end of the season.
stupid baseball gods. This team is fun!
