People would go nuts for 45mins until #30's music hit and it wasnt him. It would be genuinely awesome

That said, coming out of the crowd would be even funnier

 

I hope he has a ticket and just is sitting front row the whole show

 

I feel like for the first weekend in a long time, everyone is much more excited for the main roster PPV vs whatever Takeover is occuring the night before.

 

I would love to see Jericho win... He deserves more than anyone else, but there are just too many big names this time for one of them not to win IMO. Stroman seems to be the heavy favorite, but I just don't see him being able to headline WM right now.

 

NXT is in a weird transition period right now.

 

Adam Cole is going to lead the makeover post WM.

 

Like many others here, I'm also thinking Joe debuts and wins the whole thing this Sunday. He could have an amazing feud against either AJ or Cena. Obviously it works better against Cena so you don't have to worry about turning AJ face or have a heel vs heel feud for the title.

 

I think AJ/Joe would be better actually.

 

The Cole/O'Reilly/Strong/End/Hero era is going to be amazing. Not to mention Kimber and Heidi coming into the women's division.

 

nxt has been in a transition period for a year and a half now. they lost their lead writer to smackdown and whoever took over just isn't anywhere near the level ryan ward is at. the takeovers will always be good because they have great talent, but the weekly show is average at best, and it'll probably stay like that for a while. nonetheless i'm still excited for the show, but yeah, rumble definitely has my full attention.

joe win would be awesome, but i have a hard time believing wwe goes all the way this quickly. i'd support it fully if they went through with it though.

 

I hope not. I don't think Stroman v Taker would be a great match. It does seem likely that Goldberg and Lesnar will happen. But I think they could still have that match prior to WM even if Goldberg wins.

It's nice that this years event has no clear favorite.

 

goldberg/lesnar could be headlining wrestlemania. they'd be foolish to do it on fastlane.

 

Nakamura wins.

 

But they don't need that match for WM. Would make more sense on Fastlane.

 

Well if it is gonna be taker/Braun at WM they better just plan takers actual funeral instead of him retiring.

 

Would Taker even agree to that match?

 

I still think it ends up being Balor/Taker

 

Take/Cena/AJ triple threat at WM

 

wrestlemania absolutely needs goldberg/lesnar. its the biggest damn show of the year, they're trying to sell out a stadium, plus gain a shit ton of subscriptions. the ppv's between rumble and wm aren't meant to mean much and never have. they're filler to build what they have for wrestlemania and have some cool match, thats it. it would be idiotic to waste what was arguably the biggest wwe story of the year in goldberg destroying lesnar on a c level show and then have to quickly build a match over the course of a month. they're already offering the network free to new subs for the next 3 months, so its not like putting goldberg/lesnar on fastlane is going to make them anymore money. they're going to get a hell of a lot more subs from wrestlemania anyway.

 

Rumor has it that Ward is out as head writer and was replaced by Road Dogg. lol

 

i did read that, but also read elsewhere that he's still the head writer and road dogg is head producer or something. i don't know, but it doesn't change that nxt is kinda bad

 

Yeah... no offense to Milwaukee but I don't think they would have lesnar/Goldberg there on a small PPV

Even if Finn returns Sunday doesn't he automatically have a rematch? Or did they come up with something that I missed?

It's too soon for Braun to win, Taker is pointless and doesnt need it, same goes for Goldberg/Lesnar. So yeah it's gonna be Joe, a surprise guy, or Finn if they don't give him the rematch. I'd love to see Naka more than anyone and it would surprise just about everyone. And yeah, Omega is definitely trolling.

 

I think the WM card will end up looking like this:

Goldberg vs Reigns (UT)
Cena vs Taker (WT)
Seth vs HHH
Lesnar vs Stroman
AJ vs Balor (Some kind of title or opportunity here, maybe a brand change or #1 contender?)
KO vs Jericho
