About The Money is so good

 

It is, but I think their collab I Need War is even better. Would probably have a place in my top 10 Thug related tracks.

 

I still don't like Stoner very much. That was my first exposure to him and it kinda put me off for a little while.

 

Can't forget Tha Tour. Givenchy and Tell Em are classic Thug

 

As much as I love most of Thug's stuff, I think Jeffery is the peak of what he's done so far.

 

i definitely think its his most consistent work, also his most experimental, but my favorite project of his still goes to Barter 6

 

Barter 6 barely edges it for me too.

Tha Tour and Barter both better than Jeffrey imo

 

Tha Tour and B6 are definitely high points, but I don't know if they reach Jeffery status. The stuff he does with his voice on Jeffery is just on another level.

 

I'm listening to this right now and I can recommend it. It's really fin and lighthearted and at the same time a deep dive into hip hop history.

 

Awesome. Glad you like it. I just discovered that podcast a couple months ago and instantly listened to every episode. It's not always hip hop based, but the host (and most of his guests) are hip hop heads, so it comes up a lot.

Check out the 90s rap album episode too.

 

Yeah I'll definitely check out more episodes, although I did mainly check this one out because of Jeff, haha.

I want to write more, so I decided to revisit the 100 best/biggest 90s rap albums and write about them. I get it if you guys don't care but I figured I'd share it anyway, haha.

 

Jeff is on at least one other episode too. I think the 90s hip hop one, if I'm not mistaken.

 

Nice. I wish Shots Fired would come back.
