I'm wearing teal pants today, just felt like sharing

 

People at work started calling me Al which was weird at first but I don't mind.

Kids used to try and make fun of me by calling me Alexandra but it stopped bothering me by the time I was in like the fifth grade. Lol

I miss Nike 6.0 shoes. Nike SB is what I wear now but it's just not the same.

I've also never successfully skateboarded in my life. I just like the shoes.

 

I just accept any name people call me , easier to just say yeah it's Evan or Ethan then fight it

I get called ma'am on the phone and it just makes me mad that they train customer service people to call everyone ma'am and sir so gender normative

 

When I was in Afghanistan our resident fuck up accidentally emailed a guy who out ranked him by his first name and got his ass chewed out. I could not stop laughing.

Guy was CPT Brown and he address him as CPT Lucas. God it was such a hilarious message I wish I saved it.

 

I didn't even know they made men's clothes.

 

Yeah I feel this. I used to wear the 6.0 but I haven't gotten too many SBs. I like the Barattas though, had a pair and hey were surprisingly durable considering the fabric/build.

A couple people call me Rin which is weird since my name is only 4 letters. Everyone always spells it Aaron, too. My dad has called me slim ever since I can remember. I don't like it when other people call me that.

 

For some reason, all of my music friends called me Jake, or Jack. Everyone else calls me Jacob....cause that's my name.

 

I love that Forever 21 is color coordinated.

 

I may be mistaken, but if it's Forever 21 it's women's only, but if it's Forever XXI it's both, right? I've never found anything there that I've liked, but I've only seen the men's collection like once.

 

They used to have a men's section at the one close to me but they got rid of it a few years ago.

 

My daughter's name is Aeryn. Nobody is ever going to get it right.

Except for the men's section, which is stuck off in one corner.

Also I left my contacts in my car and it looks like they melted & evaporated. Opened it to put them on and the case is empty.

 

I should probably look there for new pants. All I wear are dark colors. Black and dark blue are my go to's.

 

one of the things i miss most about living in brooklyn oddly enough are big suburban malls. the forever 21 at the mall near my parents house has guy's stuff but i don't think it's called forever xxi

 

I'm listening to the new M83 album right now (sadly it's not that good) and it reminded me from when Hurry Up, We're Dreaming was out and we were all watching the live stream of Coachella "together" on AP geeking out. Sadly this album will probably not spurn any memories at all for me.

 

I'm kinda bummed I missed the tinder talk, I hear all about this from my boyfriend's two single guy roommates. Since they moved in together, I've seen countless girls come and go. It's kind of creepy. And soulless.

 

That one M83 single is reallllllly bad.

 

Tinder had way too many bots and fake accounts. That app was just not for me. @alina

 

I turned the M83 album off after like four songs. I said this in the album thread, but it felt like I was trapped in a really bad elevator.

Checking out the new Lumineers, though, and it's fitting nicely into the missing Civil Wars shaped hole in my heart.

 

If it makes a difference, it's basically the worst song on the album.

 

This m83 news is very upsetting to me right now.
