I've just gone on the assumption it's going to be on the deluxe edition, who knows though.

 

Yeah I was listening to Ressurection: Ascension today and that when the question popped in my head haha

 

I would be surprised if Hey, I'm Sorry isn't on the deluxe album.

 

I'm pretty sure when Travis posted that pic of them working on the track listing in the chalkboard it had hey I'm sorry there

 

I haven't listened through yet, but Travis is the guest on Rich Roll's latest podcast episode. Given the podcast, I would not expect any updates on Blink's music.

Hey I'm Sorry was definitely included

 

Excited to hear more new music from this band. They felt dormant for far too long. California has a nice balance of songs and I'm still enjoying it just as much as when it came out (though I skip the joke songs).

 

I recently gave California attention for awhile. Time for a break from it now. Alkaline will have to tide me over until Blink makes more traction with these new songs.

 

Blink just announced on Twitter they're playing Edge Fest on 4/1, which is in Texas. I looked at their FB page and they're playing in other parts of Texas on 3/23 and 3/26. I wonder if that's just going to be 3 quick shows, along with their Feb show in Phoenix or if they're planning on doing a mini tour before they head over to Europe at the beginning of June.

 

I hope they play Q101's Piqniq in Chicago on 5/20. The lineup is announced on 2/6.

 

I still think it would be better to release those songs as an EP. Anyways, always down for new blink!

 

So many bands in this day and age record a couple of new songs after a release and then throw it out as a "deluxe edition" and Blink gives us a whole album worth of new songs. That is pretty awesome.

 

Agreed. Who cares if its a new album or labeled as a deluxe edition as long as we get (hopefully 13) new songs I won't complain, especially when you factor in the lack of new songs over the past 10 years.

 

I'm sure this will be handled the same way Lady Gaga came out with the Fame deluxe edition (that had 9 bonus songs, including her biggest hit -Bad Romance).....release a deluxe edition, as well as a stand alone ep for those who already own the original album.

I only brought up Bad Romance cuz it got me thinking about how crazy it would be if a bonus song on this deluxe edition becomes Blink's biggest song since the first breakup.

 

Read an article where the author claimed California wasn't worth the nomination let alone getting a Grammy. I right flicked off my computer screen at that lol

 

tbh I don't think this album deserves a grammy or nomination at all. and i still absolutely love this album. shows the power of marketing campaigns.

I just want blink to win because i think they deserve to be a Grammy winning band (next goal I want to see achieved in Rock n Roll Hall of Fame) but out of all their albums I'd say this is their one least deserving of the award

 

I hope the Grammy goes to Weezer honestly since it was the better album but I'd be happy for blink if they won. But yeah it definitely isn't one of the top rock records of last year so I don't think it deserves the nom as much as I love this band.

 

California definitely did not deserve a grammy nom. I'd be ecstatic if they win, though.

Its a tough call who wins cuz the grammys like to flip flop between picking whats the most popular and whats the most deserving. Blink is definitely the most popular of the bunch but I think Weezer had the better album.

 

Panic! At the Disco is huge right now. I wouldn't be surprised to see them win.
