I know I read someone talking about protesting on tax day to get Trump to release his tax returns. I kind of like this idea as a means for leftists to undermine him -- he says no one cares about his tax returns, so he won't release them. If crowds the size of the women's march, or something comparable, marched on the capitol and dominated news coverage and disrupted things and pledged to stay out until Trump released them, then it puts him in a position where he has to reveal negative information about himself or allow protests to continue around the country due to his own pride, which would obviously further solidify his shit public image. Is this a good or bad idea, or infeasible in some way?

As previously stated, the GOP headed by a bunch of white-supremecist, racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, nationalist, imperialist, etc men are now in control of virtually the entire government from the top down. Protest cops. Protest class warfare. Protest racism/sexism/fascism/oppression of everyone they are actively trying to persecute. Fuck the dude's taxes. He's a piece of shit. The Democrats who voted to confirm Pompeo were: John Donnelly of Indiana, Dianne Feinstein of California, Maggie Hassan of New Hampshire, Heidi Heitkamp of North Dakota, Tim Kaine of Virginia, Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota, Joe Manchin of West Virginia, Claire McCaskill of Missouri, Jack Reed of Rhode Island, Brian Schatz of Hawaii, Schumer, Jeanne Shaheen of New Hampshire, Warner, and Sheldon Whitehouse of Rhode Island.

I can think of a few of these that probably "had to" vote yes to keep their seat, but what the hell Feinstein, Schatz, and Whitehouse. I don't get those at all.

 

In their defense I've heard from well respected people before that Pompeo is actually qualified but has awful tendencies and it would be much more worrisome if it was an FBI pick. Not saying it's right, they should never ever fall in line. Hate that.
