I recall reading about a democrat in Vermont intended to challenge his seat.

 

I guess I don't see an alternative. But, whatever. Well-worn path and whatnot.

 

The TPP is not Trump. Not only does it immediately disprove this ridiculous "primary anyone that helps Trump at all" talk, but the evilness of one versus the actually worth having a nuance discussion about the relative "badness" of the other, is one reason we're in this mess to begin with — putting them together as equal is dangerous.

how should we respond to this? kinda weird that someone would defend SA's track record on women's rights and also spoke at a women's march. also shitty that she's being smeared inaccurately (linked to terrorist groups) by right wingers...

 

I dunno, maybe not thinking Bernie needs to be primaried because he agrees with Trump and will work with him on things you also agree with? That seems like a reasonable alternative to booting him because he agrees with you on an issue. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ There are reasons to attack dems that help Trump, but it being a blanket declaration is ridiculous and the reasons why were given to us almost immediately.

 

TPP had numerous issues, but something else needs to be forwarded, not likely to get anything better under Trump tho.

I don't believe for a second that Trump could speak that eloquently.

 

If Bernie and company assist Trump in his destructive agenda, then they should be primaried. Given where the republicans are as a party, there's little work that could be done that wouldn't involve just punishing people. Like, Congress will have a bill called "American living wage act", and its content will be that they've lowered the minimum wage and now we have to live on it.

 

I think we have different definitions for what nuance means. The things you describe here take facts, and response -- which I don't equate with "nuance."

 

Well, considering what I'm seeing, I'd have to say both.
