Is it unpopular to say Alien Ant Farm are a good band and are underrated?

    No Fun. Not Ever.

I mean, I wouldn't say that aren't a good band. Was always a fan of their bassist.

And as for underrated...hmm...I'd say they were correctly rated where they were.

The covered fucking Smooth Criminal. I'd say they had notoriety.

I liked their first 3 albums a lot as a whole, and most recent one was an ok effort. I think songs like Whisper and Attidtue should have been really big. Oh well, they will always just be the band that covered Smooth Criminal.

The Tony Hawk soundtracks were awesome so great. 2 and 3 introduced me to some good stuff.

My December is a great album and idk why it's used as evidence of why popstars shouldn't go darker

I think I've posted this before lol

Whoa, that's a bold statement. As far as just soft Chester only songs, I think Messenger is better. A Place in My Head is their best though right?

There was a really soft, electronic song that I thought Dead by Sunrise did (Chester's other project), but I can't find it. I know it played on the radio years ago, but I can't find it.

It was in the same vein as Thrice's Digital Sea.

If you want me to give anything a shot, compare it to Thrice and I have no choice but to listen to it immediately.

The only problem is that I can't find the goddamn song. This was from around 2010 or so, but it's not on the Dead By Sunrise album. All I remember was the electronic music and soft vocals. Everything on that album had some sort of rock influence while this did not.

Well LP is still constantly selling out amphitheaters and putting out well received albums, so you may have a point with talking about an awesome band in unpopular opinion thread.

Meteora just gives me good "feels" for whatever reason. Takes me back to that time. Somewhere I Belong is probably my favorite track off the album.

I heard "Poem" by Taproot the other day and thought it was still a really good song. I also think that "Fine, again" by Seether is an absolute banger.

Taproot, how in the hell did we miss these guys when having that deep, and wonderful discussion on early 2000's nu-metal.
