Never played Skyrim or TLOU.

I stopped chastising awhile ago!! Live and let live.

I don't think any game is infallible, its why I can appear so negative on games some time. You are feee to not like it and post all of your grievances hah. I find it interesting to see different perspectives :)

 

TLOU is about as good as it gets in a video game for me

Any complaints would be extremely nit picky and I can't even come up with any off the top of my head

 

I haven't played enough WIII to dispute overrated claims but what I've played of it is real good.

That being said writing is one of the most important things to me in a RPG, the combat was mostly meh.

 

I found the end frustrating initially, but the more I thought about the more I liked it.

Same way I felt about Firewatch's ending.

 

lol you're so petty! I agreed with everything you said about the diversity in WD 2, it's amazing how much of a grudge you're clearly holding just because I don't like WD 2

W3 story and world building are out of this world, the game is so so so alive and deep. Combat wasn't great, but passable is all I'm looking for when the story is that strong.

I'd say Skyrim is overrated, but I don't like anything from Bethesda. First person is a no go for me.

 

Agree completely about Firewatch. Was disappointed at first but once I got to thinking about it throughout the year, the more I realized how great it was. Plus getting to know the creators better helped as well

 

I just prefer uncharted 4. It's just more of a me game. It's like tomb raider but with more cohesive storytelling and memorable characters. If we wanna isolate the protags I prefer Lara Croft by miles though.

Go back and look at the conversation, I have never spoken to you about any Ubisoft game other than Watch Dogs 2. I think you're getting me mixed up with another user.

 

You can switch between first and third person in Skyrim

@Joe4th I see you liked lightning's post, please point me to where I criticised Ubisoft as a whole for the diversity in their games?

 

Third person mode in bethesda games is extremely tacked on.

But yeah I used to be a huge fan of betheseda

Really enjoyed Oblivion, FO3 and New Vegas.

But thought Skyrim was meh and FO4 bad.

Just not my kind of game anymore I suppose.

 

You're still going at it, and you call me petty with an emoji. And since you're also calling out people for liking, I know I was talking to Anthony for most of it. But you liked most of his posts against me in that conversation as well, so if you agreed with what he was saying, then my point stands. I retract it if you didn't. Simple.

 

I can't see that I liked any of his posts. I'm "still going at it" because I don't want you to be making me out to be something I'm not/blaming me for other people's posts when you don't even know me. I'm calling people out for liking because they're liking posts about me that aren't true.

 

I think the like feature was good in theory but I see it and have certainly regrettably used it in the past to take sides in an argument or gang up someone.

Supposed to be a positive feature but we find nefarious ways to abuse anything apparently.
