I think Neck Deep and As It Is are both solid locks at this point.

Make Them Suffer I would say is a lock. I'd be surprised if they didn't play. I feel like a no from TAIM. Born Of Osiris is likely, and I could see Within The Ruins going too. As for Aversion's Crown and Lorna Shore, I'd say no. They seem more Summer Slaughter oriented. I think we could see some deathcore underdogs playing this year. I can also see UABB playing.

 

Like Moths to Flames and Sworn In are doing a short co-headliner in B and C markets that ends in March, with support from My Enemies & I, Cover Your Tracks, and Backwordz. That probably seems likely for Warped, right?

 

As a touring band it seems ludicrous to have a five band bill from a business perspective. Especially with no name openers who aren't going to draw anyways. That would 1. cut into the guarantee of the headliner 2. be more of a logistical burden 3. take away merch sales from the few acts on the bill that actually draw people. Band always complain about losing money on the road, but continue to take out too many openers. And the show is too fucking long!

 

Three band bills forever.

 

I'm on board with four band bills. Three you get too short of a show but 5 (or 6 even) is too long.

 

Three band tour packages plus one local is the dream if you ask me.

 

4 band bills make the most logical sense for bands and fans

Also anyone have thoughts on Deaf Havana playing? They're due for finally doing more than one tour in the states

 

New date getting added: July 4th, Wilmington, NC

 

4th of July seems like the absolute worst idea to add a date for. I wouldn't be surprised if the number of people is lower than usual. People will probably have other plans and/or not want to deal with 4th of July traffic + Warped traffic. But hey what do I know.

 

wilimington got alot of good shows in 2013-2015. Didn't really hear of many down there in 2016. depending on the venue, it might do well.

 

In year's past, from what I've seen, the 4th of July is usually a day off for the tour, but the past couple of years they've booked dates that day.

 

When does Warped usually announce it's lineup?

 

Third week in March.

 

That is the same weekend Warped Tour starts.

I guess I'm spoiled being Canadian since they come through all the time. I think I saw them 3 times in 2016.

 

Touche have stated that they would never play Warped

 

Did they say why out of curiosity?

 

It was awhile ago, I'm not sure I remember exactly what Jeremy said. It makes sense though, the band just doesn't agree with a lot of the ethics I'm assuming

 

It doesn't surprise me at all to be honest

 

That list isn't too surprising. Architects and Northlane are the only ones I thought could do full runs. I still wouldn't rule out OM&M, Hatebreed, or TDWP for a partial run.
