my teams don't win unless I carry literally every single game.

Just got on to play my first game. Teammate misses about 5 blocks for 5 goals then precedes to tell me I'm bad.


I'm fucking done already.

 

Just got my first S through botching a sneak attempt and taking out my target in a helicopter

 

Lol the gameplay is soo fun tho. I like trying to ride my horse all the way through outposts but switching snake from side to side to not get caught. The bridge outpost before the bee misile thing mission is the most fun one for that.

 

Won't find me disagreeing with that, so many flaws with that game!!! I have almost zero desire to ever return to it & play it in full ever again. Might have been in this thread that someone mentioned 'fan service' with regards to MGS4 and I definitely agree with that phrase being most apt when describing almost everything within it. Raiden got screwed over, as did Ocelot IMO.

 

I thought Ocelot came out looking great in MGS4.

 

I just looked up something i'd totally forgot/never even realised, that He replaced Liquid's arm with a prosthetic in MGS4, then used the same hypnosis techniques on himself that were used on Venom Snake in MGS5 to embody Liquid's personality. I thought Liquid's arm had 100% taken him over by itself which is lame lol.

But I had an inkling anyway.

 

Hoooooly shit, I'm so sorry I've read posts TODAY that clearly indicate you haven't finished 5 yet so I really fucked up on this one

 

Yeah, I'd love to play it again. I think it would still work? I played Zelda Links Awakening not too long ago and it played like a top.

I actually got Ground Zeroes for....GWG I think? So I have that and played it for a bit, think I beat it not sure though. It was a lot of fun.

I did think the character Quiet was....shockingly disgusting which is one of the reasons I actually held off getting the game.

 

She is so amazing but yeah that outfit is bad.

 

My thoughts on Doom so far.

After about an hour I wasn't really digging it. It felt strange to move so quickly, almost like my character is floating. Also I usually play a game on hard (ultra-violent I think is what it's called in Doom) for the challenge. From the get go I died a lot and I didn't get far. Turned the difficulty down to normal and now I'm having a ton of fun.

Never done that before, I will stick with games even if frustrating, but now that it's not frustrating I'm a fan. I like the old school feel with the heavy metal music, the nods to the original, and upgrading guns to their secondary function. I'm actually liking the fact that you run out of ammo for guns quickly because it means that you have to switch to other guns which keeps the gunplay varied.

Totally worth the 20 euros.

i don't hate the first uncharted. it's just kinda there and i'm drudging through it. the jumping/reactions to controls in many areas are really bad tho hahaha.

 

Uncharted 2 is such a huuuuge step up from the first one but UC1 is still solid. Naughty Dog doesn't make bad games.

 

UC1 was good to ok but turned into a slog for me at some point. 2 was really cool. Never played 3 or 4 myself.

 

1 and 3 are slogs

2 and 4 are near perfect.

 

Three is definitely not a slog.

 

3 was super uninteresting in terms of story and felt like more of the same when it came out.

 

2 Is excellent, but the final boss fight remains utter bullshit. I enjoy 3 overall. 1 is kind of a slog now, but it's fun seeing how it all began every once in a while. And 4 is pretty damn perfect.

 

A Theif's End is the best game in the franchise, by a pretty huge margin.
