Dijak out of ROH. Dude had a lot of potential. I seriously hated him the few times I saw him. Puts on a great show though.

 

This is so fucking cool. The Booker spot is fantastic. Striker is one of the best call guys in the biz.

 

I hated it so much when it happened but in hindsight when all 3 announcers go into the Rumble it's actually hilarious.

 

I'll get the list in for sure. I need to revisit some of the cards from earlier in the year to see what I've forgotten about

 

Speaks a lot to the roster when Primo, Hunico and three announcers get spots. lol

 

I've been watching the old Rumbles and it's gets hard to watch around 2006-2008.

Currently watching the 07 rumble. Forgot they referred to the ECW guys as extremists.

Also, damn when did Kane set the record for most total eliminations. Even here, 10 years ago he already had that record.

Also kinda funny Punk goes straight for edge.

 

Other notes from 07:

It was pretty boring until it Taker comes out. King when it comes down to Taker and HBK: "I don't know if we've ever seen this but we are about to". Guess he doesn't remember 96-97.

Damn the crowd was nuts when they thought Shawn was winning.

"The most star studded rumble ever" with only 2 real stars at that point. At least San Antonio can use that hyperbole this year and it's a little more meaningful.

Is it widely agreed upon that JR is the goat?

 

Most people are strictly going off his CWC matches which were in direct contrast to every other match in the tourney. He slowed down the pace of a high flying specticle. It felt like weird booking.

I love him tho.

 

2007 was great. And yeah that line by King really irritated me. Literally doesn't remember their feud that lasted half a year including the first ever HIAC match.
