The end of "Jesus Glue" is one of my favorite moments ever. Those crunchy chords all by themselves, ending on strum fewer than the listener expects based on the rest of the song is just brilliant.

Vanilla Poltergeist Snake isn't talked about enough either. Such a different vibe for a GJ song and they pull it off. I'll admit I'm not in love with the opening riff on that one, but the verses and chorus are so damn good that the more than make up for it.

Our Color Green is one of my favorite albums/EPs/whatevers from a rhythm section point of view. The bass and drum tones are perfect and they're locked together from start to finish.

    No Fun. Not Ever.

    They basically spell it out:

"But maybe you, the very knowledgeable listener, can take a guess. …Maybe someone who fronts another post-hardcore band you may have enjoyed"

wonder if that means geoff isn't involved at all on whatever the next release is :(

i still haven't moved on from worship and tribute to any of the eps. it's the same as when I listen to Quicksand, I like it, but I cannot for the life of me figure out what the fuck is going on and it's like I can't get familiar with it as a result. it's so dense

I think Geoff confirmed a while back he wasn't going to be in UN at least for a while. Said something about how UN's ironic approach to politics doesn't work for him any more

I definitely remember that, thought that just meant no shows for a bit. either way, that's fine, i wasn't expecting a new UN so soon anyway so good news

Daryl on this track doesn't necessarily mean anything, he was involved with the group at it's inception, and Geoff plays guitar in the band sometimes

Early shows even had an additional singer while Geoff played guitar and vocals

  17. We never knew the studio line up right ? Besides Geoff, Ben Koller, and Daryl
