WoJ will most likely never do warped, they've mentioned several times they have no desire to be a full time band again and or longer tours. STYG is on the whole tour! Conquer Divide is NOT doing warped, they've only done 3(?) tours in the bands life time so I dont think artery wanted to push them.

 

I hope Face To Face is on Warped Tour this year. Their album tour didn't come here, so I'm crossing my fingers. They put out one of the best punk rock albums in 2016.

TSS had other plans which they backed out of. Things aren't really looking up for them unfortunately.

 

He mentioned a death metal band on Warped and I honestly feel if the right death metal band was asked, they would do well.

 

Care to explain? They aren't breaking up, are they?

 

I feel like they really needed a radio hit off the last album to keep them going.

 

Patent Pending announced another UK tour. It ends April 28th. I hope they do Warped again. They are a perfect band for the tour.

 

TBS isn't playing

 

Bummer. I didn't think the would.

 

Wonder if The Maine will play, with their new album dropping a few months before the tour.

 

They played the main stage last year, doubtful they'd return even if they wanted to.

 

I've heard from many people that they are.

 

You mentioned that in the 8123 Fest thread too. They are still a relatively popular band. They haven't lost any steam. Maybe they expected to be bigger?

What were their other plans?

 

I have a lot of time to kill. lol band I forgot to mention that was brought up way back in thread was iwrestledabearonce. Not this year for warped. Being that they most recent album will be 2 years old by the time warped rolls around. Kinda get the feeling they may call it quits.

 

Not really my place to say, sorry - but it wasn't Warped.

 

On that note, what deathcore bands do you all think could play this year? I think Make Them Suffer is most likely, and maybe Thy Art Is Murder if everything falls into place. Also, Within The Ruins, Aversion's Crown, and I think Lorna Shore all have new albums coming out this year.

 

Born Of Osiris is very likely unless they have Summer Slaughter up their sleeves or something.

 

Keep remembering things, sorry. Someone brought up municipal waste way back and said there doing warped? If true, awesome if not booooo! I do think it be cool if warped would have thrash metal bands though. There are a few newer bands that could possibly go over well with the warped crowd.

 

As It Is is doing a Warped Tour Instagram take over tomorrow. I really think they'll be on this year, considering they dropped the State Champs tour and from the looks of it don't have any Spring plans, and the last time they were touring the states was with Sum 41.

 

Not to mention their new album being heavily hyped by both Alt Press and Rock Sound

 

Yeah I'd say As It Is is a lock, based purely on speculation though
