Radiosurgery was my jam the other day during my run. Enjoy that album a lot. The deluxe edition is great.

 

i couldn't stand that album, haha. did not connect with me at all.

 

I can understand that. It just reminds me of The Ramones, which is why I like it. Their Ramones EP was awesome too.

 

It's a little tooooo similar to the Ramones, but without being as good. They were obviously very Ramones-inspired during that era, which is fine. But I prefer NFG being NFG.

 

I think Radiosurgery has a few awesome songs. I haven't listened to it in a few years though. I do like NWAF more than most seem to. One of my favorites of theirs tbh.

Thats a good album. Never understood the hate for it. Truck Stop Blues is an awesome music video too haha.

I'm not into Nothing Gold Can Stay at all, and NWAF and Resurrection are their other two weakest imo

 

Yeah, I couldn't ever get into NGCS.

 

I can listen to S/T, Sticks and Stones, Coming Home, and NWAF pretty much anytime. Catalyst has some awesome songs on it, but it's a bit uneven as a full album. I think it would be much stronger if it was shortened a bit

I haven't really liked a full album of NFG's since Coming Home. I think there's a handful of good songs on NWAF, Radiosurgery and Resurrection but I found them to be pretty forgettable overall.

 

Catalyst is peak Jordan-singing-really-nasally so that's my biggest gripe with it

 

Catalyst is fantastic and has some of their best work. NWAF is pretty good for the most part. Radiosurgery is blehhhhh. Resurrection is fairly bad with a few good songs.
